This is simply gorgeous. Deliciously gorgeous. It feels so un-2021 since it's real fashion. One of the few bright lights of the season.
This makes me scared though. This is part of the LVMH strategy. Install a really talented designer in one of their brands. Make fashion people fall in love - which would then create an aura of sophistication in the brand. This high-fashion reputation would then trickle down to the masses but remains unrelatable due to the (largely) logo-less bags and fashion. THEN BAM! An overrated, social-media savvy and/or streetwear designer takes over to churn out mass market baubles and rags, in the hopes of creating a "billion-euro brand". It's the Céline -> Celine strategy.
I hope I'm wrong and that it wouldn't happen for some time. I hope that LVMH still thinks Loewe is still not at critical mass and JWA continues with his vision for Loewe. Otherwise, what's the point?!
