Loewe F/W 2025.26 Paris

This feels like a closing chapter for Loewe, and lets be honest no one will shop on this brand without JWA and even so less with the PS at the realm.
Loewe is doomed to go back to be a dormant brand, I just hope they won’t discontinue the fragrances. 001 is one of my favourites!

I actually don’t think these clothes need a show. Sometimes, the Loewe clothes are too… “chatty”, in the sense that the clothes themselves have a lot they want to “say”, and sometimes, the “conversations” gets lost in the entire show atmosphere

I mean those fringe-y dresses would look good in movement, but it will be a bit too much for the sensory if place in a big show with huge backdrop and loud music, sometimes being a bit quieter is good, and they let the clothes gets a breathing (just like appreciating art in a quiet museum)

JW is fashion’s last creative director. Can’t wait to see what he does at Dior.

He has managed to do such an amazing job here… and this collection is a great way to say goodbye. There’s something poetic in it -and in the fact it’s not been presented with a show.

Proenza will kill Loewe.
They are THE WORST choice in the universe.
What idiots are the corporate suits that make these decisions!!! Hahhahha
When there are so many other deserving designers with a pov and talent, It annoys me so much lol. Knowing they are going there doesn’t bring excitement, I don’t see anyone talking about it in that context.

what a gorgeous collection! we were robbed of a fashion show, definitely!

And I am supposed to believe the guy who did this is responsible for monstrosities we see at Dior now? Delphine should call everyone from his Loewe team.

let be honest it's the same thing with a dior logo now .....we only excepted it or liked at at Loewe because they don't have rtw heritage.
even if i expected him to done down the quirky stuff for dior its 1:1 him at dior just like blazy at chanel now doing his old BV work.

I agree with @PDFSD.
This collection and the latest prefall 2026 are very similar or in the same vain.
You simply allowed yourself to appreciate Loewe differently.

You have another preconceived idea of what Dior should be.

Maybe it’s a matter of ego from a designer who is pushing so much of their aesthetic and design language at houses. So the shift may seem drastic and the very obvious Dior elements seems lost.

But for me it’s the same thing, maybe with more logos but essentially, if the Dior collection was presented on mannequins, it wouldn’t have been that different from that.

next year Lola you will come to the dark side we will agree on Blazy Chanel flop 100 % :-)
i will try not to be banned before that just to celebrate with you 😘

I can't agree with you on that. It's not the matter of my idea of what Dior should be. What I focus on is the quality of design and execution. This collection (and few other he has done) has a sophistication that's completely missing in his work for Dior. I don't mind him mixing basic with gimmicky, that's his thing. My problem is that at Loewe the end result showed certain maturity that one gains with experience. At Dior I have impression that he is regressing. It's sloppy and all over the place.

My liking for him seems to go on crescendo. Don’t celebrate too fast ahahah. I’m buying stuff from the first collection and I liked the Metiers d’Arts. If he is winning me with Couture, I’m staying on his side 🤣🤣🥰

Ps: yeah, stay unbanned. lol

I have faith in my gut instincts it paid me well in my career :) i will welcome you with a warm Hedi blanket when Blazy disappoints you after the curiosity dies down and reality settles in 😇
I will await for the full year it will go fast.

I think the mature gloss at Loewe is because the environment is gallery arty static and connected to modern art with a craft twist. so experiments and his clothes looked more lets say sharper in his arty way this conditioned since day one with his Loewe on how to see his clothes in a controlled context.

Where as Dior has the sugary pretty that is part of the house makes it even more evidently lose this aura of rigor or as you say maturity in visual optics especially photographed on the street its hard for the experiments to feel controlled.
