Honestly, I don't really understand why some people are so upset by the fact that everyone and their grand mother wears and carries visible labels... It's a fact nowadays. It'll go away to re-surface a decade later or something. These cycles come and go. Period.

Fashion and designers/labels will always be here, sometimes with the bling-bling factor thrown in. The ones that cash in big-time during the "logo" periods may suffer from it when the hysteria dies down though, unless they've been smart and protected their brands.

I wouldn't mind buying an LV logo bag, even though they are very overexposed, because it's a classic. I would carry it whether it was trendy or not. (I don't really like most LV bags, though...)

I don't mind logo-ing products... to a degree. I am completely and thoroughly sick of Louis Vuitton monogram. The craze has ruined a classic. And the new emphasis on logos at Dior? No, no, no. Way too much, way too obvious.

Logos for the most part, aren't the demon some people make them to be. To me, I feel like I'd like to show off a little. Why not? If you're going to spend alot for a piece, you may as well get to flaunt a little. It's such human nature. But to wear head-to-toe showy logos... it just looks tacky. I particularly dislike the teenage-esque look of sneakers, jeans and a baby tee with "ABERCROMBIE" plasted across it. Bleck.

The key to everything? Moderation.

Well said! Head to toe logo is way  , but for me...sometimes I'll be dressed just very very plainly, but I'll use my Dior logo saddle just as an easy way to brighten things up.

I'm ok with LV monogram, I don't find it annoying like some people do. But I do like LV Damier, Epi and Suhali better than the Monogram. and I don't care what other people say and think towards LV, to me it's always very well made classic that I'll always carry. ;)
and somehow I'm only ok with the LV logos, the Fendi, Gucci, Dior....etc. logos, just not for me. it's not that I HATE them or I can't stand them, but whenever I'm thinking of investing in them, I usually change my mind.

i never liked wearing logos head to toe -- the other day at school, this girl was carring an LV monogram bag, LV bracelet, LV shoes, & LV scarf -- it looked like LV threw up on her

the girly dior pink logo collection though made me less anti-logo, i loved the colores & the styles so much that i could not resist buying the bag, wallet, & 2 tops.. now i'm thinking of the swimsuit too! -- but i'd never wear the top & carry the bag at the same time

well, regardless trends i'm anti-logo myself, i find it cheap to be a walking advertising of a lux brand.
if people feel the need to communicate their 'wealth' they should find more 'discreet' ways in doing so.. :ninja:

Don't get me wrong, I really like the Dior Girly stuff. But to wear a whole dress made out of the fabric.. just.. not on my list of "Yes"s.

MeowMix - Ditto. I dont care whether people hate LV/Gucci/Dior or whoever logos, if i like a bag i buy it :innocent: . I agree that the Monogram is a classic, and regardless of all the FAKES that flood the world, it will be respected in years to come ;) .

As for logos head to toes, it just doesn't work  :yuk:  . That girl dressed head to toe in LV, probably hasn't got a clue how to dress(less is more, hello) or simply hasn't anything more interesting in her wardrobe, so she is excited and has to show the world(or school in this case) that she is SOMEBODY WORTHWHILE, cuz she's wearing Vuitton!
