but doesn't a postcard show an idealized version of a place? somewhere you can aspire to be in? and isn't 'Aspiration' one of the major things an ad campaign should achieve? to lure in the observer, make them crave to be at that place?

either way, the catalog shots aren't part of the ad campaign.
