Louis Vuitton F/W 2023.24 by David Sims

That's just ok! Although not beautiful, I thought it was better than many previous ones... Putting all these models together doesn't make a good one.

At least there are no gimmicks to the set but this is so boring imo... it´s all so beige.

could be a Marks & Spencer ad campaign if you ask me. also, those bags are huge.

I like however how toned down it all is, could/ should be much better.
shame for the pedestrianisation of it and the boring cast.

LV spent like $20 on this campaign. This and Diors campaigns are so inexpensive. The last time they went with cheap campaigns they were preparing to switch CDs.

Such a missed opportunity.
Let’s be honest, Nicolas has never been that great with campaigns.

At Balenciaga, the campaigns by I&V and some of the earliest with David Sims were great. But then it was Hits & Misses and at Vuitton, it’s definitely Hits & Misses too..

I feel like the promise of the show and then shooting on location could have been a great way to infuse some movement into the campaign. It’s too static, too posey…There are too much informations.

I would rather have them walk in the streets of Paris, do something than being there.

It looks like a shot taken for a Paris Match profile on Nicolas, not a campaign for Louis Vuitton.

‘I think it’s time for Nicolas to step his game up. Vuitton makes the most money out of him and his team work but somehow, Mr Williams have the formula to make things more grand or at least noticeable.

That being said, I love the cast even if I’m tired of those very crowded campaigns. Can we go back to 1 or 2 girls?

I believe this campaign is the Nicolas Ghesquière's version of the quiet luxury trend.

They playing safe now.

They have had so many opportunities to go abroad and really capture that feeling of "I want to travel there wearing my Louis" that, for example, Marc captured in his ternure.

I enjoy the vast majority of Louis Vuitton's advertising campaigns for their accessories and capsule collections, yet the mainline offerings always fall short for me. This season, as expected, is no different and I'm sat here wondering how on Earth this all came to fruition. To describe this as basic would be an understatement.

A lil bland; but you know what? If you look at Ghesquiere's work at Balenciaga when he first started there, the Star Wars collection; this gives similar vibes. David Sims and Nicholas are a winning combination, so while this isn't as dynamic as it could be the casting is still strong and the campaign is timeless in it's no frills approach.

The best? No. The worst? Also no.

Beige and sand colour clothes give me a Brunello Cucinelli vibe lol

Louche and Boujie. Its fine, at least the clothes look a touch more flattering which isn't saying much....

Wow they are really pushing that CHANEL inspired quilted matelassè motif, those Twist looking like bags are just the LV version of a timeless classic with a "LV" clasp instead of a "CC".
