Between this, Balenciaga's "High Summer" and Prada's "Days of Summer" this has been a particularly ugly past few weeks for brand campaigns. Goodness...

Unbelievably horrible, i would never imagine a brand of LV level doing something like this. MK and Philip Plein could do better. Don’t even know where to start…..Shameless

Unbelievable that this was done by great photographers and they earned a lot of money to do it.

“Great” photographers is questionable. They are known to kiss *** and send gifts to clients until they get a job. Now they are probably blaming the client for everything and started sending gifts to M. Blazy at Chanel. This campaign is a laughing stock in the industry 🤭🤭🤭. N. Ghesquier is traumatized.

I will forever have a place in my heart for I&V for they did beautiful work with for Yohji in the 90s and some great editorials for VP under Alt and Roitfeld…but this is CRIMINAL. I swear there was a ANTM challenge with this kinda gimmick where the pictures came out better than this crap.

I’d like to think the gossip above is true, imagining Ghesquière’s very French expression of disgust at this tackiness…it brings a very petty joy to my heart!

the thing is, that throwback raquel paco image shouldn't look so much better than these to me.. like.. is it the retouching or the model selling it or the beachside vs city setting?? the city setting evokes the darryl hannah movie of course etc. so maybe thats partially whats lacking..
