I love Louvre and I love Nicolas. It’s sad that apart from the buzz generated by K-pop/Western Celebs, people don’t care enough about the fashion and moreover, the set (more interesting than YSL in my eyes).

Nicolas really makes the most tricky and awkward clothes for LV, doesn't he? This is by far his worst for the brand yet.

so many beautiful things. Can't wait to see the photos, so much to digest. Just on top of my mind the last 3 black looks where very nice, also the floral top with jeans a classic ghesquire look.

Since I don't care about Milan anymore so this is the first show I ENJOY (and Khaite in some degree 🤭) this season. Fantastic!

I'm probably in the minority here but I LOVE this. It's honestly one of the best S/S collections from Nicolas in a while. The styling is less overworked than usual and you can always trust him to deliver a great pair of pants. Also that floral top, my god. I loved almost everything here, except the ruffle pieces and the shoes.

He’s still the king of PFW imo. He is what JWA aspires to be but I am not sure he will ever reach this level of artistry, let alone exceed it.

That was awful. There were 2 or 3 good looks, the rest was truly hideous. Basic, but also frumpy, with design details that scream afternoon sewing classes. MAS styling made everything worse. At this point it's not challenging anyone's taste, it's just ugly.

2/3 goods looks here but he's really trying too hard, WAY too hard, to the point it looks like a fashion college competition show.

From a cerebral point of view you can argue that this is fashion pushing boundaries, much better than many other brands.
Ok.
Now close your eyes and picture the three items that wowed you and you absolutely need to buy.

You see? This is a lot of ideas, with no cohesive thread, with no interest in being flattering or desirable.

It's such a lovely collection! It's a strange mix of overworked pieces and effortlessness, which works pretty well imo. It's not as challenging as some of Ghesquiere's previous shows, and the styling doesn't make it too heavy.

Should have closed PFW tho.

I really liked it! I think it is as usual hard to digest but overall it pleased my eyes.

Throughout the show, I thought about Hans Feurer shooting some looks in the desert or on the beach.

I don't get the comments here. This is one of his easiest shows ever. Much more about developed ideas than full experiments.

The first look is gorgeous. That red (?) look with the fur collar is a fantastic surprise cause the color palette was rather boring. Lol

Daddy looks good with glasses. 🥴

no matter how complicated his louis vuitton is, when other designers are trying to channel it we still instantly know its ghesquire's louis vuitton. So does that make his work really as "complicated" as everyone thinks or is it just new to the eyes that we needed time to get used to it?

His balenciaga was cleaner but at that time it could have been from other designers as well, i think in louis vuitton he has just been making a strong design language for the vuitton woman and for himself. It's kinda hard now to imagine who the vuitton woman is without ghesquire.
