A quick translation:

Star Model

Loulou Robert, 20 years old, born in Metz, has become the most sought after French model in New York where she now resides. Some months earlier, she was still a student but on the edge of boredom.

After spending the summer vacation with her family, Loulou took an early morning flight to New York, where she has been living for 5 months. She is still living together with Leo, “her love,” in a small apartment in Brooklyn. “We are going to move to Manhattan soon” she murmurs. A sign that things are going well, even if “fragility” is still the rule.

Loulou is a model. Leo is a musician. He left Paris and his band for New York where he writes music alone and works at a bar. They were both motivated by the desire to live somewhere else. “I have always had this desire to leave, I wanted something to change in my life” confides Loulou.

Some months earlier, she was a student, bored stiff, at the Sorbonne, after passing her “bac” in literature in Metz with very good honors. “I didn’t really have the head for this” she claims. She wanted to face reality and to win. Today she is the French model that is conquering New York. In September she was on the cover of four American magazines.

Her image is managed in the US by IMG, the reputable agency that also represents Kate Moss, the legendary British supermodel. In Paris, Loulou is represented by WM, the agency that discovered her, her “work family.” The managers of a different agency tried in vain to win her back after having originally judged her short stature as insufficient. “Today they are kicking themselves,” she says with a smile.

At her high school, she was a brilliant and discreet student until she finished. But her beauty is not easily forgotten. Like a magnet, she attracted stares and comments. Today Loulou has few friends from her hometown. But her family is there, central, essential. “Each time that I go back, I’m torn” she confides. As a young girl, she sometimes lived unhappily under the notoriety of her father, Denis Robert, the journalist and writer at the epicenter of the “Clearstream” affair. This case was an epic and haunting battle with judiciary harassment punctuated by frequent visits from bailiffs, some of which were menacing.

One says that Loulou is beautiful. She does not agree. Today still she has doubts. As often is the case, this adventure started by chance. It was during a beauty contest organized by the Galeries Lafayette in Metz. A friend signed her up; she prepared herself, and won. Yet becoming a model was not yet her project.

After the baccalaureate, some photos of Loulou were circulated, and the idea began to take shape.

Destiny was accelerated when a couple of Belgian photographers, the most “hyped” of the moment, Inez and Vinoodh, directors of the latest Lady Gaga video, were stopped in their tracks by the photos of this young “Messina” and made her their muse. “I owe them a lot” she admits. Before their meeting, she went for long periods of time without work. She faced rejections and cancellations without explanation. “It’s difficult because it depends on the taste of others, between films an actor can “play his game,” but a model just has to wait.”

Then along came a series of emblematic campaigns: Bulgari, Vuitton, Diesel, Abercrombie, and Milly, who made her their muse … Her image [reputation?] of “a French girl, an intellectual who always has a book in her hands on the set” has started a frenzy.

Perfect beauty is not the only goal. Loulou’s fee is on the rise. The covers of French Vogue “for the prestige” and American Vogue “for the notoriety” are within reach of this woman whom Paris Match has baptized “the new French icon of fashion.”

She really knows how to pose and use her body. Gorgeous work lately, we don't see enough Styleby features around tFS.

^ I agree, Inez taught her well. I found a few more from the Styleby ed:
