I did a search, but besides lingerie, nothing came up.

I'm wondering which brand/designer offers the snuggest, coziest, plushest, ultra soft robe? Do you wear bathrobes at home or after your shower? What do you usually lounge around home in?

Please post pictures or just let us know what you wear at home (although in my case, i'm specifically interested in robes). Any recommendations would be good too.

I would like an affordable, yet good quality (for the price) loungewear. Thinking about the H&M satin one for spring/summer use and just got this (below) La Senza robe in a soft, powedery yellow for fall/winter because it seems comfy, cute and good price. If anyone has better recommendations...then I can still return the one I bought. I'm worried about the quality of La Senza if I put it in the wash.

i dont know much about robes..but i can tell you a little something about the BEST SLIPPERS EVER! -coquette, uggs. they have them in a bunch of different colors and i swear i hop right into them the minute i get out of the shower!

I have a navy cashmere robe my mum got me from Ralph Lauren, she had my initials embroidered on it too...Super WASPlike...

there really isn't anything more luxurious than a cashmere robe..
i have a blue one...
i really want a grey heathered cashmere one- but i can't justify buying another while i have this one...

unless of course i can get some sort of deal...
hmm...
may have to hit up some cashmere sample sales...:shifty:...
might be the only way--

the one i have is land's end...
i would love to get it again in grey this time...
but who needs two cashmere robes?!?...
...

don't go by the pic - i assure it's MUCH better in person...
and they have lots of other options at various pricepoints...

soft that robe looks amazing...
i've actually been thinking about getting a cashmere robe for my mother for christmas (for my father to give her because of course he's pretty much incapable of shopping  and he wants to get her a new robe)

looks like it's sold out though :ermm:

at least it reinforces the idea that my mother should have one ^_^

oh no--sold out!...
i am wearing mine now and it is scrumptious...

i just got another cashmere robe---i know i said i wouldn't ...
but i went to a sample sale and found one for a good price in burgundy and it's lovely...
:woot:

but it's shorter and that means i could actually wear it as a sweater too if i like...
:P...

ahhhh!!! lucky you! :lucky:
burgundy sounds like such a lovely color for a cashmere robe ^_^

i might have to go hunting for one this weekend.. with any luck i'll find what i'm looking for

I'm crazy about comfort when I'm at home and can't live without my Barefoot Dreams robe. It's so freaking soft and squishy.

^^^Which is where I get mine each year.

I feel a little sophisticated of wearing cashmere robe, may be pure cotton is more like my style, simple, crispy and I really addicted to the fresh cotton smell, currently hanging in bathrobes by M&S

that one looks really good pegged wrong!..
yummy...

i agree laffen...cotton or terry is great in the summer...
but not warm enough for me in winter...

though i also have a flannel plaid robe that i love ...
it's so warm and soft and cozy...
makes me feel like i am in a log cabin in the woods....:P

jcrew does good flannel plaid for women...
and i like ralph lauren for men...
