I hope she reads the forums. If you can't even get the crowd who are interested in fashion on board then I'm really not sure what the hope is for a supposedly fashion-lead magazine.

As I said before however I'm sure she revels in the fact everyone hates what she does with this waste of paper. She's so cool, so's so edgy. Using Kim Kardashian. I mean I'm personally amazed and enthralled by this exciting new development for a magazine.

im also wondering who's buying this.
sure cara, kendall and kim have millions of followers, but instagram is free, while love magazine sure ain't cheap (esp outside of the uk). are their fans so eager to buy all the mags they're in? it's not like, say, one direction or bieber fans.

and we already the shocking! vogue cover, the scandalous *** cover, the uneventful vogue australia cover... this is hardly shocking anymore.

I, for one, will usually buy anything that features Miuccia Prada, but I draw the line at this.

I once read in an interview that she used to read the forum and was sad when her magazines had bad critics. I don't know if she still read us, although I'm positive she does.

Rolling my eyes at the Instagram incident. What a d*******. I won't buy anything 'from her' anymore (I wasn't thinking of doing it, though ).

That was you?! I just saw it. I've just lost ALL respect I had for Katie. I started when she started using the Kardashians but still kept SOME respect because I loved her work from the early 2000s but now I have absolutely none. I don't recall seeing someone THAT childish in a long time. God forbid you voice your opinion in which you weren't even criticizing her work, you were just voicing your opinion about ONE cover and then she has to act like a 5 year old and say "Don't use my work".
And Cara commenting that, her engaging in that whole convo keeps demonstrating how unprofessional she is. In the industry, models will always be scrutinized (she should know from when Marc Jacobs initially called her a dwarf). If it really bothers her, she shouldn't have become a model. The fact is, she looks incredibly hideous and ridiculous in that shot. As someone who has disdain for Kim, I fully admit that she looks great in that shot, and Cara ruins it with that ugly face she's doing. The shot looks like a selfie from the Myspace days, it's not cover worthy at all.

Katie has never shied away from working with lowbrow or unexpected pop culture figures, probably because she likes the perverse Warholian aspect of it. But I think now she HAS to use them because they are quite literally keeping this magazine afloat. Unfortunately I don't think all those fanciful Tim Walker eds are selling issues or racking up website views.

I don't mind the Kardashians, but their general pervasiveness is out of control at this point.

If you're selling a product, the consumer gets to have an opinion on that product. They get to have an opinion about whether it looks like it's worth buying in the first place. If you can't cope with people having opinions about your output, you shouldn't be in the business of trying to sell anything.

Yesterday I described the magazine as a 'club', but now it sounds more like a gang.
