I don't thing its the posing that's so off putting its just that open mouth or pursing lips and squinting she does at the camera, it works for some but not for her.

I think she is trying too hard to be fierce that it comes off a bit forced. I think it is her lack of experience

McIntosh gets into the recording biz with DJ Poet
LUCY McIntosh is out to prove she is more than just a pretty face.

The Melbourne model has written and recorded a song with her fiance, DJ Poet aka Jamie Munson.

McIntosh arrived back in town from LA on Wednesday and yesterday walked with Nathan Jolliffe in the Jeanswest parade.

Tonight she will hit the decks at Crown as guest DJ at Co nightclub.

And the first track she will play is Electric Magic, the song she recorded with her American beau.

"Back in the days when I went to school, I used to call myself a singer," she said.

"Now since I have got a music producer for a fiance, I think it was a natural progression."

Munson, who DJs with the Black Eyed Peas, didn't make the trip to Melbourne.

McIntosh said their wedding plans were on track, with the big day in the Maldives in October.
