Lui March 2016 : Lily Aldridge by David Bellemere

Not bad but LUI magazine only excites me when the photographers are Mert & Marcus or Luigi & Iango

This looks awfully generic, Lui has had better covers.
I don't know why they do them anymore.
Also Lily doesn't excite me, she isn't really sexy to me.

Will never get this girl's appeal. She's got such a harsh face. Just as well there are so many distractions on this cover.

Not bad but I don´t have high hopes for an editorial by Bellemere...

She looks like a young Eugenia Silva, the spanish model...

Great news after last month's effort! Love Bellemare's work - looking forward to this. Quite strange to find out the cover of the next Lui so early on.

It's not a stellar cover, but she's gorgeous. Never got her appeal though.

But to be honest, put this side by side with last month, you'll start to appreciate it even more.

As much as I find her super boring, this is a major improvement after Rita Whora

I like the cover, I like the pose and the styling but not the model...

Looks like Mert & Marcus shot the cover, i know than photogrphers copy the other photographers' style.

^everyone´s copying everyone lately... maybe the only photographers not copying M&M are actually M&M imo.

I actually like Bellemere's work. I guess it was less redundant when he started and the commercial demand on it wasn't so high but I still think that in that field of let's call it sensual photography, he captures girls like no other photographer right now, they always look pretty much the best they've looked and also empowered.

I don't care for Lily either, I always thought her best "feature" was the husband :ninja:.. and I think it's a bit problematic when you start wondering about aquatic walls and red fur instead, I'm not a man though so maybe this works for some..

^^^ Because of you, I googled who her husband is… I had no idea. I remember a time when the staff at every pub would play his group’s music, which made me rush out and chain-smoke like a douchebag until I had to go back in to the pub. I’m so glad this group is past-tense now. Is he your type, Mullet…? Say it ain’t so… I always envision you with some real mountain man, or a Bear Gryllis type.

Anyway, I like the saturated colors of this cover, and it looks like a cover— which so many publications seem to have forgotten what a cover ought to look like with a strong composition, instead of a snapshot that gets further cropped to some unflattering mess, and then get signed off these days for covers.
