The first one looks like Codie Young, not sure about the second. I suck at ID'ing models.

:heart:! I love both, but I'm really happy to see Cody on the cover! I love her Twiggy-esque flower make up.

Love both models and love both covers. Codie's is so dreamy, I love her pose and the red hair, and I even like the closed eyes with the weird make-up.
Karlina is just stunning and I don't think a close-up of her flawless face could ever fail. Very beautiful.

Thanks for posting! ^_^

I was just thinking the other day that it's about time that the newest issue of Lula was released... and now I'm so glad to see these covers! They are both wonderful, I love the ethereal quality of Codie and Karlina's covers. Especially, with Codie's cover and it's fun 60's vibe!

It might just be because I've gotten older, but am I the only one who really doesn't find Lula that "charming" anymore? It's not bad to me, just bleh. Too twee.

^ I think that's why I'm slightly more partial to Karlina's cover. It still somehow feels Lula-esque but there's something more moody and soulful about it.

I don't mind Codie's cover but they do that cutesy faux-vintage thing a lot and although it's still a well-executed cover, it's not surprising to me.

Lula has always been too girly and airy for me.

The second cover could have been good if it wasn't for the eye make-up. It's so heavy it becomes a mask of some sort. I jsut find it incredibly distracting and not working for the image at all. I'd like to be able to concentrate on that beautiful gaze of the model. I like the sparkly ribbon around her neck, especially in that moody light.

Codie's cover is lovely! I don't know who Karlina is, but whatever, the make-up and dark mood are not what I usually expect to see from Lula. I can't say it's bad but I'm not accustomed to it. The blouse and spangled ribbon are lovely, though.

I agree, I always prefer when they go a bit darker. I like both covers though, and I'm really curious to see the content.

Both the covers are so beautiful! I've really come to appreciate Lula as a publication.

Same here.

I find the contents quite predictable.

I "get" who the Lula girl is now... and I'm bored of her.

they are selling to teens apparently, do you feel teenVogue changing their vibes since it published?

Absolutely gorgeous  cannot wait for the contents!, Lula is so into their style. I'm tired of the same stuff in every magazine following the common styling/themes nowadays.

Thanks for posting :flower:

same. the last two issues were so boring i was just wondering why i'd spent money on them. these covers look interesting, the first one more than the other, but i'll make sure to skip through every single page before buying this one.
