Hello, I've been desperately searching for LULA magazine but can't find it anywhere! They came into my college a while back to do a photoshoot with normal sixth form kids and chose 7 of the photos to publish. I'd love to see my photo and so really want to buy the magazine. Someone told me that it was only a trade magazine that was sent out to people? It'd be great if someone could help,

New Lula Site!

I'm very sensitive to pleas about Lula, since I spent a long time tracking the first issue down til I found one in New York. And though Leith and I were swapping photo comments over flickr and fotolog, I was getting nowhere with the gmail address. BUT wondergirl that she is, Leith has revampled the Lula website (www.lulamag.com) and now, if you click on the sweet little ragdoll's dress patches, you'll find links aplenty, including new contact info, a list of places to get it (don't be fooled by the list, though, I know there are tons more places to get it in NY and surely it's the case for London too), and even more exciting--a way to suscribe. Lula hunting woes no more! Issue 2 is now out, and it looks fab.

I live in South West London and can't find Lula ANYWHERE I checked my local borders but they didn't have it, WHSmiths don't have it (I've checked like 5 of them) ..how annoying! People are selling issues on eBay but they're going for between - £25-60!!!!!!! I wish they did a subscription!

My favourite fashion magazine by far. Even my Dad loves it! The photography is fantastic, I find it a lot more interesting than what goes into more popular magazines and it's really nicely presented. Also the quality of the actual magazine itself as an object is very good, and I really like the way it creates such a world of its own. Does anyone have any thoughts on Lula?

this is my favorite fashion biannual. love the little girl's diary vibe. the magazine itself is art, not just a forum for.

i do think it had been slipping. interested to see what it is like without leith clark, if it is at all. and very interested to see what Violet will be like.

#11 was the first issue i bought, and my favorite. i've managed to snag most of them. i'm missing 3, including issue #1 -- which will be a pain.

not saying much, but was time to get the first post outta the way.

and i see a big thing in this thread is where to get it. that used to be a problem for me too. only could order it online, which always meant ruined corners or spine. now that i work downtown, i found a corner store that gets both Lula and Self Service in. and a bunch of others. best magazine shop. even though it's kinda a seedy lottery hole.
