LUSH products? Faves and Raves please

^I know all the shampoos are supposed to have varying degrees of lather due to water conditions and ingredients but I finally got around to using a sample of Seanik and it lathers a lot.

I enjoy 'the blonde' but I don't think it lathers as much as the solid, little round ones. Right now I love "godiva" b/c it's like 'the blonde' but has some conditioners in it and I really  the jasmine in it. :flower:
Cut off a piece of the blonde as you go and store the rest in a ziploc as it has a tendency to dry out (yes, even more than it already inherently is).

So Fresh Farmacy was way too harsh for my skin  It dried it out really badly :ninja:

But I'm happy with the bath melts - but the honeybee bath ballistic was a really gross colour and left a yellow ring in the tub :ermm:

have any of you tried lush henna? i am considering using henna for the first time and it is said to be good for henna newbies ^_^ but some reviews say its's even messier than making your own batch. any experiences or comments? thanks in advance:flower:

I would really recommend their fresh face masks, just go online and read the descriptions of which suits your skin best. I loved 'A Crash Course In Skincare' (I have a combination/sensitive skin) , it smelled so yummy (avocado + lemon juice + yoghurt) and made my skin brighter and moisturised <3

I like the Blondie!:woot: It washes very good and actually it foams, but you better use a good conditioner after Blondie, it's a must.

Christmas products are so cute! I think I won't be able to resist Angels Delight.

i love lush soaps more than anything, rock star and angels delight are my favourite. the latter being a xmas only one i have to stockpile it!

i go through phases of using the other products. i sometimes use happy hippy and the olive branch shower gels, fresh farmacy when my face is acting up, ocean salt and mask of magnaminty every now and again. i used to be obsessed by the bath products but unfortunately i don't take baths anymore!

Oh yay-I'm glad it worked out!!
And yes, don't resist that soap!

That's exactly what happened to me too! I loved the scent, but it didn't last at all in the water or on my skin. I threw one in the tub while I was on vacation in a hotel and it left a nasty ring around the tub. I tried to wipe most of it off, but I have to wonder what the maid thought happened in there... If they made this into a good perfume I would definitely buy it though!

Birgitta Lush henna sucks. Especially the ones that have stuff in them like coffee grinds. I can't recommend them at all. Plus their dying power is extremely weak. Better to buy pure henna powder and save your money and time for Lush's other products like their skincare and bath stuff. And yes it's really messy (you have to chop the blocks up, melt them, and then apply them to your head). If you just buy the henna powder all you have to do is add water and something acidic (fruit juice, tea, lemon juice, anything) mix and apply.

thanks for the review lollicandy :flower:! it doesn't seem worth the inconvenience for something that's supposed to be ready made. i guess i will just try my own mix.

I have lip balm , which is kinda strange and I'm not really satisfied with it.
I also use Baby Face cleanser in the mornings. This one is such a GREAT product! It's all organic and when you put on your face- very oily. But despite of that, it cleans your face perfectly. Plus, I don't need to use moisture after it . It's like OCM :) Really recommend it. My cousin likes it as well. She has been using it for about 5-6 months and it's still not over! Very economic.

I tried new shampoo bar

but turned up being allergic to it :( My mom uses it instead. She's crazy about it!
So I"m thinking about trying another one

^the New shampoo have quite a bit of cinnamon to it, thats why it is slightly irritating to your schalp. (one of the buttercream [sknnydip] have clove it and it slightly itches my skin.

and yes people, Marlyn lighten brunette hair too :):D

I bought two people their Christmas presents from Lush. And I bought the chocolate orange whipstick for myself. I have an addiction to their lip balm. Its the greatest thing in the world!!!

maybe, you're right, and that's the reason. I want to try something else

I can't believe I ever stopped using it, but now that I have rediscovered Angels on Bare Skin I will never be without it :) It has worked on so many different issues: my skin feels super-smooth, my skin-tone and colour is better than ever and I've never had such a radiant complexion! I'm also in love with the Crash Course in Skincare and BB Seaweed fresh masques. If only it was easier to get to the LUSH store!

I actually love the new shampoo. It wakes up my senses in the morning and I find it very refreshing.

I'm addicted to their lip balms too! I hate waxy ones so these are perfect. I'm in love with their Let Them Eat Cake one, so delicious :D

Has anybody had any experience with the cleanser 'Ultra Bland'? I've been using it for a few days and its made such a difference to my skin! I definatly recommend it :)

For what type of skin is this Ultra Bland?
