He's absent from the schedule this season and had me worried but he just posted few looks on his IG. They will have show in June during Men's. I'm not sure how this works, will it be the same collection? Why is he showing some looks if it will be presented 4 months from now?

It looks consistent and I guess that he will add some looks and indeed we will see the menswear.
I think it’s clever. He has a small brand and June would allow him to have more spotlight if he shows indeed between Menswear and Couture.
I guess the collection will be bought by retailers during the current fashion week.

I’m now curious to know if Richemont will invest more into his brand because I’m surprised by the news.

It will be similar to how YSL did SS21 during the pandemic. They presented their collection to the buyers in September and did the "show" in December, closer to the collection deliveries.

That makes a lot of sense. More smaller designers should consider adopting this stripped-back method of presenting collections rather than flogging runway shows each season.

They're still doing a show. It's just that's it's going to be in June instead of March.

Are these looks more luxe than his usual streetwear clash? Maybe showing during couture will have an impact on his collection and I'm here for it. It's time to elevate his image, especially if the Richemont rumours are true. I hope the jacket with long skirt look in the last slide is an indication of where he's heading.

I actually hope he won’t elevate the collection in terms of price point and keeps it consistent as is, refining what’s worked and maybe bringing back things here and there that he’s shown on his IG in retrospect - Some of his archival knitwear he posted earlier is still as terrific as it was then.

The thing is, too many brands are competing in the high end tier and I think his prices reflect what his customers are able to afford. Why change a winning formula when it’s worked for him all these years - Lemaire is another good example for a brand that’s desirable, yet stayed relatively consistent in terms of pricing over the past years.

I agree, I hope he won't hike up prices, I won't be able afford it anymore if he did  I thought more in terms of style. I would love to see him exploring new things

I commented under that very post teasing his new collection that the very first draped shirt and last dress were a step up in his draping techniques were my standouts - They’re more refined propositions that nicely balance the trademarks he established so far.

I bet we will see more of the collection till June - So far, I’m very pleased with what I’m seeing.
