i saw them today......i have no idea what is the deal.
they didnt look like they worked there....unless they are security or something.

They are probably protesting what Louis Vuitton pays the workers to create their bags...Gucci had this problem a few years back as well...

they were black men and i have a feeling it was more along the lines of discrimination.

but i don't know

poor things...i wish i could help...i try not to buy designer...

don't believe those! In the competitive business world, exploitation and unfairness exist everywhere, otherwise how can LV posts such hefty profits each quarter?
Gotta accept the reality!

crying ain't gonna help!
neither is ignoring it

Though I wouldn't know about unfair labor with LV... but then again I wouldn't be surprised

Plasticine20-totally agree with you there. Being arrogant to a form of slavery should not be any kind of excuse, to just ignore it:huh:

if they dont like it........then dont work for them.......simple as that

Maybe they're complaining about the fact that Marc Jacobs doesn't actually do any labour...

I don't exactly understand what you mean by this, what (besides bags-which he has never even done for his own line) does he not design? As with all other big names he obviously has a large staff to help him, it would be ridiculous to expect anything but this.

not simple as that. Quiting a job without any guarantee of finding a new job when one needs money is a ver hard thing to do. If it were that simple, there wouldn't be as many people dissatisfied with their work.

All the fresh stuff is designed by 'guest' designers...all the other stuff is just rehashes of past designs...I'm at loss as to why it needs an internationally reknowned designer just to rehash a few old designs...

Sean, do you mean it is alright for employers to discriminate against their employees and the employees should just quit rather than seek justice? I realize we're speculating because we don't know what's actually happening but despite that, you seem to think the employees should like it or lump it.
