LV Stephen Sprouse Scarves

Oh god, that would help wouldn't it? Here's the link:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....8573008&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_592wt_921

The things making me paranoid: the lack of feedback, low price, and the writing looks slightly different to the pink writing on my leopard version. I got so excited to see a rose version at a reasonable price, that I forgot to do my usual checks. Have the scarves ever been faked?

Thanks again in advance (will hold of payment until I get your opinions if possible) :winkiss:

I can't really tell from those pics but I also don't have the original scarf for comparison.

To answer your question, unfortunately there are fakes of this style too.

I'd not complete the transaction if in doubt. It's a lot of money for a possible fake and the seller does indeed have no feedback.

B&P, I am with Velony... the low price paired with the zero feedback would leave me uneasy. The LV Stephen Sprouse scarves counterfeits are widely available on ioffer for $20 USD. Sorry to be the barer of bad news...

Not at all Ciao, thank you so much to both of you!

I am horrified that fakes are being sold so blatantly on ioffer! I hadn't actually realised that they had faked these scarves yet, how sad.

I don't know why I wasn't as careful as I normally am - I think I was just so excited to see the rose version (which i've been hunting for all year since they were sold out instantly in London) that I lapsed. However since I emailed the seller to ask for shipping prices, verification of authenticity and to include the purchase receipt and box, I haven't heard from her. Funny that. So I suppose that even though I won, I won't need to pay unless she confirms these things.

Thanks again, I really do appreciate it. Back to hunting...

I think they have the rose version in the store in Copenhagen, their number is: +45 33 15 10 22 if you want to give them a call. :)

Oh my gosh, thanks Caroule! Do you know how much it was there? I'll try and phone tomorrow :flower:

I'm so naughty, I keep forgetting to call! Must do it soon. Is that the pale rose leopard or the fuschia rose print version Caroule? (I love both, but think I prefer the rose print)

Is anyone able to tell me if this violet is authentic? I'm going with fake because the box is a completely different size to the one mine came in and it doesn't actually say it's authentic.

It's so infuriating that ebay is now filled with these fakes! I long for the days when they were all selling at exhorbitant prices above retail, but at least you knew they were real.

A link or something would be nice ;)

The size of the box is not a sign at all, it's the SA that choose the size, my Pale rose one didn't even come in a box, just the dustbag.

I finally got the brown scarf! It's so warm and comfy and goes with everything. Great addition to my winter wardrobe. Does anyone know how to fold it back up?

^^^Ditte is an expert! I think she explained it a few pages back. I know I followed her instructions and it worked!

Love this color !!

Maybe it was on tpf, Emmy? I remember I did write it, but I can't remember where. I just put on new nailpolish, so I'm afraid to ruin it, if I have to write a long explanation, but I will be back with one!! ;)

I'm back, just did a search through 500 posts, which was the only ones I could search through? I couldn't find it though. But now the polish is dry, thanks to Seche vite!

Here's a guide how to twist it the scarf back up:

1. Fold it on the middle
2. Hold the two ends in one hand and 'the middle' in the other hand.
3. Start to twist from 'the middle' end, while you hold the two ends still (no twisting :D)
4. When you cannot twist it any further, loosen up the grip a bit, and let it twist itself together
5. Tuck in the two ends into the 'hole' where the middle of the scarf is :)

Thank you so much for your help! Just one quick question - how do you fold it in the middle exactly (i.e. - lengthwise or widthwise)?
