Mood/Style:
L'wren Scott loves hosting press friends and show biz celebrities, creating a special atmosphere, spoiling them with a presentation and a refined lunch, seizing the occasion to chat and catch up. To show off this collection, she chose an evocative, gothic twilight setting, the Hoffman Hall of the General Theological Seminary. The lunch menu was quite sacrilegious and included Petrossian caviar and open potatoes, which delighted the guests. The runway show, on the other hand, offered another one of L'wren's hyper-feminine visions: outfits colorful like flowers or bubbly like French desserts, with an extra glamourous 40s touch to remind us that Hollywood and the Oscars are just around the corner
