In a season that’s oh-so-loaded on so many levels, all designers, especially those starting out, must ask how they can make this one count. For Lyn Devon, the answer came in a beautifully controlled collection that flaunted the designer’s savvy take on what luxury means in this economy. “This is about real investments,” said Devon, who channeled her resources into cutting tony fabrics — waffled silk chiffon, tech jersey and paper-thin leather — into staples that have staying power. Her ultrachic signatures such as boyish trousers, blazers and shirtdresses, were sharp as ever, their trim lines played against lush cashmere knits. While black and gray figured prominently in the lineup, Devon put her adopted credo, “you have to stay optimistic,” to work in vibrant red, purple and prints, both poppies and oversize houndstooth, finished so the patterns matched up like wallpaper — seamlessly.

I don't really like this collection but I do see potential in further collections!

I only liked a few pieces from the collection. I think overall is not good...

Not my collection I'm afraid :(
The red outfit/coat looks nice though

It's not ugly, just very generic looking. I agree it's good to invest in pieces with staying power but everything looks like it could be purchased from H&M on the cheap.
