Macdonalds Drops Yellow M

Oh my God, that's so dumb. If people really wanted to eat heathily and were smart about it, they wouldn't go to McDonald's in the first place. Plus, I agree with the above post that it tastes like paper. Literally, it does.

Exactly!! If someone wants to start eating healthy that last place they'd go to is Maccas... This is crazy

that's quite stupid, i bet some men in suit just said, i think we need to get rid of the M logo

 exactly

i dispise those big decision makers who have no f*cking clue......hmm like tony blair :innocent:

someone's head's gonna role.

if they want to lure health-conscious people they just have used that money as seed to start a new chain of stores completely unrelated and new.

I read that the question mark will only be featured temporarily in a British ad campaign.

Even then, what's the point???

Thats just dumb, like many have already said if people wanted a healthy the last place they'd go is macdonalds.

"Are we the crappest eating establishment out there ? "

Ack i hate macdonalds.

Has anyone recieved their leaflet yet? It's so funny. There's one page for 'the guys' with big manly pictures of Big Macs, one for parents with a picture of the new 'fruit bag' which comes with every happy meal and one for the girls talking about how 'time away from boys is a precious thing' and that when you come home from the end of the day and show your purchases to the boys they 'just won't care unless they're about football'! Oh, dear...their advertising office needs to buck up its ideas...

Yep. Hands down, Burger King wins. Hmmm...sounds like another TFS poll in the works.

Does anyone see the horrifying contradiction in this? McDonalds, which probably launched the age of obesity and over-eating, promoting healthy food decisions? What's next, tobacco companies supporting healthy smoke intake?

I agree with that. It is almost impossible for a company with an established image to completely wipe out the image in consumer's heads. Especially a company that has been promoting its image for ages.

it's like gucci deciding to get rid of the double G logo, doesn't make sense
