like a half-hearted,soulless and tacky tribute to MM's scarf dresses in the early 90's. it's like they're having trouble finding that middle ground....knowing when to express something familiar but also something esoteric without coming across as too gimmicky and costume-y. it's one or the other....there's no continuity or flow anymore.
It was shown one year ago and I still feel touched by these pieces. That 'I love you' dress is iconic to me. I'm actually starting to miss Blazy at MMM, I mean Galliano is great, but still Blazy's vision was more connected to the Margiela's one.
