Maiyet launches their Spring 13 collection on e-commerce tomorrow and sent along some shots of Daria Werbowy as a friendly reminder. (Always welcome here!) The images were shot in India by Cass Bird, marking Werbowy's fourth season as the face of the brand. "While navigating the back streets of Varanasi, sailing along the Ganges at sunrise, and trekking through Jaipur's massive Amber Fort, Cass, Daria and I were consistently surprised, mesmerized and inspired by all that India had to offer," Maiyet president Kristy Caylor explains. How's it going at your desk?

These three photographs are just stunning. Daria and Cass make a fantastic pairing! And they seem to embody the Maiyet brand so well, they just get what the brand is trying to do. I especially love the first image of Daria riding on a motorcycle, it really makes me want to travel, and want to wear what she's wearing! Which I suppose is a sign of an effective advertisement, isn't it? That you desire to be like whatever's being sold to you... ^_^

This explains all those pictures of Jaipur on Daria's instagram. She was shooting there the whole time.
I LOVE what it produced. Cass and Daria make such an excellent combo, imo.

I do love it, but I think they need to go with a different model next time, as I don't think it's a good strategy to lock so tightly one model to their establishing (as they are still a new band) identity. Especially since this is supposed to be such a worldly brand, how about some models of different nationalities for a change. It's not Daria, much as I love her, that's making these shots beautiful it's the photography, locations, and the beautiful styling.

I quite like these. They could have been cliched but it works out well.
