*Being Carefree

*making fun out of nothing- Like a couple of blankets and making a cubby house
*Creating and living in a world of your own
*the excitment Christmas eve when 'santa' was comming
*Not having to do hair or makeup everyday
*Getting along with my sister
*Riding Horses
*Not feeling depressed

Things I miss from my childhood:

1. Hanging out at my friend's Adrian house spending the whole day being bored until Sailor Moon came on. (Damn Adrian what happened...)
2. Having a crush on that girl in my homeroom in grade 7 and finally dancing with her
3. Having a crush on this other girl in my homeroom and not doing jack squat about it. I did just add her to facebook tho so s'all good.
4. Playing handball for 2 hours right after school and getting on the 5 o clock bus all sweaty
5. Getting Vita Lemon Tea after said games of handball.
6. Blowing $500 in the school cafeteria in a week (HKD, that is)
7. Trying out for the jazz band and getting so psyched when I finally got to play "Killer Joe"
8. Having a crush on Kristin Scott Thomas when the English Patient came out.
9. Coming home to my mom's Mushroom Risotto at 11:00 PM after performing in school concerts.
10. Playing Diablo (the first one) for 8 hours at a time, mingling with my net clan, and flirting with the head mistress of the clan who turned out to be a pervert GUY in his 40's.

This list doesn't include too silly/non-offensive bitchiness as well as other ways of being hostile than bitching as well as strangers whose names I don't know. Also, I was particularly unlucky with some names which means that there're more than one person per name in some cases.... I listed them in alphabetical order which means that slight bitchiness is not separate from the major one, but it's still bitchiness, so... And I listed these people by the names I knew them and I'm not sure for the spelling....

- being a kid and feeling like a kid...
- what MTV was like at the time...
- vivid and unnatural hair-colors...If the trend is back in, I'll dye my hair bright red the next day...
- the fashion for piercings
- the fact that people actually got tattoos with a meaning....
- what Ibiza was: the place for fun, music, partying with friends and laying in the sun, as opposed to the Getting-Wasted-Central it has become...
- the music festivals...the big ones...the local ones...any, not just the overcomercialized Glastonbury and alike... or is it just that I don't notice them now ??
- that people took anti-fur movements seriously....

Reasons why being a college student sucks

-You're always tired
-You ALWAYS have an assignment that you need to do at the last minute
-You're pretty much broke
-You're guaranteed at least one crazy professor in your time at school
-If you're a fashion design major, your fingertips will become rough from all the pinning and sewing
-Your back will eventually start to hurt on a regular basis from humping all of your books and stuff around campus
-You're required to take some kind of math, science and physical education even if it has absolutely nothing to do with your field of study...and you may start to resent that.

and finally-you'll feel like all you do anymore is whine about everything
