Those guys all look like a bunch of cross gendered he-she's. If you're a guy - don't wear make up. It's that simple.

 Uhm I think all those guys look normal. And who the hell do you think you are to say guys cant wear makeup? Many girls AND guys use make-up to enhance or improve their feature. That was ignorant. Now you got me mad and red, I need my concealor now.

Hmm, apparently SOME people don't know that ALL MALE MODELS WEAR MAKE-UP....it's not some trend dude, it's a rule. Besides, as Toxxxic dais if make-up makes you look better, why not wear it?

If those guys look like he-shes to you then you obviously need to be educated on the concept of androgyny.

ok...i'll move this to the make up area...

fyi-make up for men is not really any different than it is for women...
and you can just use the same basice info...

From what I've seen from the guys that I know well: use a self tanner for your face, some light make-up to cover up any imperfections you dislike such as dark circles or spots (Sisley?), Touche éclat by YSL is an excellent product to cover up that tired look. I personally think lip gloss is a big NO for men. The rule is that people should say: 'You look great!' instead of 'I love your make-up dude!'. Vive Metrosexuality ;)!

thanks Alura..
about the time I watched this backstage on FTV
i notice that the make up artists/assistants used brushes...

Here I am

Ok, depending on your skin condition, the basics for men are just concealer, sheer powder, eyebrow gel and bronzer B)

My picks are:

Concealer - Secret Camouflage by Laura Mercier...it takes a while to make the application perfect, but it's the best one out there, IMO...use a medium bristle foundation brush to apply it ;)
if you want a more sheer look, as Alura said, Touche Eclat by YSL is the way to go... sheer and luminous... use a bit of loose powder to set it in though, it creases easily...

Sheer Powder, or touch up powder - MAC sheer compact, it comes in several colours, so you will find the best to match your skin.

Brow Gel - MAC Beguille is the best out there, its tint will fill in any bawld spots on your brows, while setting them all day  if you choose for a clear one, Dior makes an excellent one, at Sephora.com

Bronzer - Depending on your skintone, or the look you're going after, Terracotta from Guerlain is a great buy, it's brown, not orange, doesn't have shimmer, and it's the best way to go..Me personally, I use Blunt from MAC, really dark, but I use it for contouring and faking the bake  ... Gaultier also makes one that's excellent, is the sheerest of them all, so it will be the best pick for you, if you're a starter.

*This is an optional choice, but lipbalm is a great thing to have, Kiehl's makes a great one, it comes without colour, and there's also two other shades, a reddish one, which looks like a natural pink on your lips, and a mauve one, which is best for dark skintones ;)

I am on opposite statement

you know between animals /birds there are sexual/gender dimorphism( i am not sure in english equivalence of dimorphism-it's mean male exemplar are more feathured, colourful, but female are monochrome)
see tribes in africa/america

the same condition

men wears eyering,penis rings,needles ,tattoos on face(maories)

the explanation that today we are cultural beings is not adequate in the epoch of postmodernism and post structuralistic society-art-literature-politic-metaphysic-science..
the nature is not oposite to culture, psyche, law

we said sexual appealing is surnatural

what this mean no-natural..muchnatural-unrational or non-cultural or ubercultural.

I am not sure that sur natural is only accidental, and used as accessoirs, not as essential..

So,we got an epochal split into the split NATURE/CULTURE,Law,history,fashion

fashion is what seeks for reconcilliation of this splited body of primordial androgine(see Plato's myth-Symposium,diothime),and reconcilliate the splited body of BEING-divided on soma and soul,psyche...Being when is the Nietzschean being is ubermensch, surhomme being dancing..being of decartes is cogitational, being of in-stance,statism of body, because (human)being is engaged to considarate,to rationalize

:ermm: can somebody put this into i am stupid dialogue...

the fact of your problem to understand is extremelly positionised on your abstract ability..

Goddies,to be stupid is not the easiest thing... ,considareted in terms of logic and rationalism ..
let's just say that there must be measure to reflect to evaluete the degree of how the stupidity is...how much, when and how long...
that authomatically put the necessity that this measure is more intellectual ,less stupid as the examinated stupidity (Stup1)..
So Stupidity 2 is not equal to stupidity 1
as Socrates said
I know that I don't know nothing...
it's mean..that he knows the fact "I don't know.."

So,dear
if you try to opposite in this dialogue terms of comlicity, promiscious, indiscriment to simple ,and simplicity I am agree..
yes ,to put in such dialogues higher abstract forms,to try to express in some intellectual forms is obviously stupid act...
excuse my stupidity!

You can observe my nickname
Sophist..
many people used cathegory
"Sophisticated"..but only in very narrow aspect-of the visual effects...

Sophist- ability to transform the stright these to weak!

The way I look at male make-up is: If you've got a hideous red zit, use cover up, why should men have to walk around with blemishes while women look perfect? Pale? Use some bronzer if you don't like being pale, you'll look healthier. Got bushy brows: fix them!....

I use cover up all the time and am so not about to be ashamed of it, men are just as vain as women, if not more so, so what's the big surprise?
