Male Model Skin and Body Care

I really have to say that I have fantastic skin, and my method is exfoliate immediately after shaving, which is usually once or twice a week. I use St. Ive's apricot scrub for the exfoliation. Two days later, I might use Cetaphil cleanser if I feel the need to wash. Otherwise, I will just scrub with my hands and water in the shower.

Every day I moisturize with L'Occitane olive body milk. Although it isn't made for the face, it gives my skin an amazing glow and I haven't broken out yet!

You have to realize that some people just have naturally perfect skin and the rest of us have to suffer.

I use Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Face wash. It's all natural.
And after the shower while my face is wet, I put about 3 drop of Jojoba Oil(also by Desert Essence) on my face as a moisturizer.
And I've only done it twice so far, but I use baking soda when I shower as an exfoliant.

Agree. Some people need to realise that genes are more influential than they're commonly thought to be, sadly.

for how long do u exfoliate ur skin with sea sponge? is it really good? can I exfoliate if I hve few blemishes on my face?
is cleanser really bad for oily skin????? I thought the opposite!

i have been exfoliating for about 2 years.....it's great...well if you're skin is not too oily, it's the best choice.....about blemish i'm not too sure....but i want to emphasize that this method surely make ur face smoother, and brighter cos everythime u splash with water, dead skins soften and then u scrape them off with a sponge which normal cleanser fail to do so to certain extent....yet it's gentle to the skin without stripping off the protective sebum layer...so u don't feel dry after scrubbing with a sponge...just forget about those harsh chemicals and whatever microbeads that promise u to exfoliate the skin

i stop using the cleanser cos they make my skin oilier and patchy and look destroyed
morning after brushing teeth, i wash face and just rub with a sponge and it wakes u up cos it boosts circulation
then before bed or whenever u feel like washing face along the whole day...

I tried Dutty Rock's technique of exfoliating after I shave, then I used my Kiehls Centella Calming something or another...I love it.

thanx for advice!:flower: it sounds cool! I think I should try it. and for how long do u actually scrub each time? I mean for example 2 or 3 minutes etc? do u have to wet ur sponge?

yeah wet sponge....as 1.5 minutes is average for me...as i'm a bit lazy......sometimes, i rub until my face is blushing....anyway i feels refreshed and clean.....not clean and dry...

I've bought a sea sponge today, I've tried it tonight and I liked it! skin felt so clean and so soft. thanks for the tip :)

i use this one from bodyshop..cos here seasponge is quite expensive and all my sea sponges tend to be worn out quickly . this synthetic sponge has a natural texture although it's quite expensive (maybe around US$ 8) but it is still in original condition after 2 years

ok some more new things to try.....
i have dark knees even though i have fair brown southeast asian skin...
and i'm trying citric acid peel...i made citric acid by dissolving citric acid crystals bought from pharmacy and apply the concentrated solution on knee...have been trying for 7 days on right knee and leaving rleft knee alone as a control to compare the result..so far my skin on right knee is kind of drying up and it is "wanting" to peel....if it's successful, i'm going to try it on every dull areas on my body

You should really replace that. Think of all the bacteria that is infested on it. Two years worth. :yuk:

lol i regularly wash them....with hot water and anti bacterial soap... don't worry...
cos here is quite hot..it won't stay moist for too long...it will just shrivell up by aftertoon
