It's funny the cover and it's accompanying editorial do nothing for me, but the rest of the edition is pure perfection, so visually warm you want to crawl into the editorials. Great stuff.

Thanks guys for the editorials. James', Puzzle People and NY State of Mind are masterful depictions of a certain-- but not specific time and place, I really like it a lot. They remind me of that period of the early 90s shots of people in libraries, cafes and bookstores just hanging out, which were in turn inspired by the images of the 1930s/1940s-- the days before mobiles and wi-fi and heavy-handed retouching. The styling is classic without being nostalgic. Beautifully executed.

I wholeheartedly agree. I need this issue, I may just rip the front cover off though haha
