I've just tried walking in a pair of strappy mules (quite a thin toe strap and one further up the foot) and nearly broke my neck as my feet are just a little too wide - my little toe made a bid for freedon and the rest just followed

Has anyone here ever had Manolos custom made for them? Where did you go for the fitting, how much more did it cost and how long did it take to get them? I live in England so I can easily get to the Manolo shop in London.

If I were you I would go into the London shop and just try on shoes. Have them help you with your size and give you suggestions.

to each his own I guess. I love all my Manolos. I buy at least 7 a season.

I personally only buy Manolos. I will buy a few of the really nice other shoes here and there from Prada, YSL etc.

I personally don't Louboutin. I think they are cool and funky but I get over so fast. I had every color of the Pigalles....2 velvets, leopard, black patent...and I sold them all. I had the black cork patent shoes and the red ones...sold though too. I had a sample of the Gwenissima shoe...sold it. I just get bored of them fast. I even had every color of the yoyo zeppa suede shoes...sold them. To me they are more styled rather than artwork..something that last the test of time

To me, Manolo is a hand designed artwork. I dont like all the shoes at Neimans...I only buy them from the boutique....so I get things that are in limited size runs and are very different...higher heel....etc.

So that is me. I have Manolo love. I do love Mcqueen shoes though. They are funky and fun but seem to be more designed than Louboutins, etc

thanks! I remember I was going to my sister in laws graduation..and her roommate had the new Elle and I saw these in there....Renee Zellwegger was wearing them in her shoot. I ran outside to call my Manolo lady from the auditorium....got my mother in law in a tissy...B)

...but it was worth it! I got them about 4 months later...love them. They are actually less green in person. The background in green with black lace over them....I love them!!

I bought a pair of Gamboyo Manolo sandals from ebay. They were suppose to be orange but when I opened the box, they are black. The seller emailed me back saying she'd send me the correct ones. She has one neutral from buyer who sent back an item but didn't get a refund yet.

They are so cute shoes and I would keep them but I have lots of black shoes and would like a different color.

Should I chance sending them back or just resell them myself? I hate to lose the shipping charges back and who knows if she'll refund or resend the right ones.

you shouldn;t have to pay to ship them back...make her pay! she made the mistake...she should refund your shipping first....then you send the shoes back..and she send you the right ones for free.

who is the seller if you may ask...I am a shoe ebayer and am friends with alot of sellers. let me know...

..but you shouldn't have to pay a dime more than what you have...not your fault right!
