The three of you should get together. ^_^
I'd love to see some pics with the shoes and the outfits you wear them with. What a great summer shoe.

i will do so this weekend aspen! i plan to wear these shoes this friday with a black DVF-style short sleeve wrap dress that i bought from zara awhile back. i'm going to look smashing! ^_^

iluv - i should have known we had similar taste in shoes. :) you got me hooked on the prada open toed boots (which i've been wearing like crazy and getting lots of comments on!) and on the look-out for the lanvin cone heels.quote]

yes,we do have similar taste in shoes^_^

so glad you love your boots. Those are really gorgeous. The bamboo Pradas I have has the same leather (I have not worn them yet though I took them with me to Paris:blush: darn weather)

And yes, Gucci is very very helpful:rolleyes:

Ebay had some Lanvin cone heels, have you seen them shopping?

is it black?

I was thnking about wearing mine with a mod style dress. What do you think?

iluv - i haven't been checking ebay at all for the cone-heel shoes. i just figure they will be marked up like crazy so i will wait until the craze die down or until i get to france/italy in july. i will stop by LVR in florence to see what they have. i already loooked at my florence map to see exactly where they are located!! ;) and yes, the dress is black. i alraedy tried on the dress with shoes and it looks great.

i think a mod style dress will totally go with these manolo bow shoes! even some cropped pants/jeans! gotta find a right top for it is all.

Florence is the best city to shop:) I am sure you'll have luck there.
Lanvins on ebay were going for $1200+ last I checked.

$1200????? aren't they about half that (give or take a few hundred). that is nuts. am definitely going to florence to check out the boutiques there instead. plus the pricing will be better since i get VAT off.

if you a pic of the mod dress you are thinking about wearing with your new manolos, post it! :)

these shoes are so much fun and so sexy! i love the 5inch heel for sure. they are surprisingly very comfy to stand and walk around in (did so in my home but the true test is out on the street of course).

I paid almost $900 incl. taxes. Definitely get them in EU if you can minus VAT. When I was in Paris I called the Monaco store, they still had some (if you want to order from there)
sure, when i go out I will have a friend take a pic:)

ok, to be honest, i think the outfit looks too busy for my taste. do you have anything of solid color or less colors? i feel that your dress is competing with your shoes for attention. i want the shoes to have more attention. :flower: you are a skinny minny!! lucky gal!

^I have several solids..maybe like 10 black dresses:p

I am just trying different looks. The dress is a Missoni, hencethe zig zag pattern

here is another one, my orchid Celine dress.. I am not so sure about it with the bow shoes though:cry:

I know the shoes will go great with a black dress..just seeing what else I can get away with:)

here is a solid

these shoes look better with minis or knee high length skirts/dresses IMO.

i love the celine dress but not with the bow shoes. sorry!

the black dress combo looks fab, and i bet any shoes look fab with that dress. play around some more and see what else you can get away with! definitely minis or knee length dresses will be great with these shoes. :flower:

The bow shoes are beautiful ladies. To be quite honest I am usually not a Blahnik fan...but I must make an exception for these.

^shopping I agree the bow shoes do not go well with the celine dress. I wear my orchid shoes with tht dress:p
The solid dres is actually navy, very dark blue. Hard to tell I know.

thanks seeing double;)

I love all your clothes, iluvfashion. But I think the bow shoes look best with the best dress. They complement each other very well.

I too think the green Manolos would look the best with a sold colored dress and not a patterned one. The shoes are so spectacular that you want to draw attention to the shoes, with a patterned dress it's difficult to know what to look at (it's like putting a lot of make up around your eyes and wearing red lipstick at the same time; it's a no-no because you have to choose where you want to draw people's attention to; your eyes or your mouth. And I feel the same way about these shoes; they've got so much going on that they need to be the center of attention and not compete with a busy dress. :flower:
