Leyla I haven't had a chance to try Manolo's here b/c we don't have any store that sells them. So I am in the same boat as you are.

Here is a picture. But this is in pink which are so much uglier. I like and want th silver ones

leyla m: i am still confused about the sizing, but the pair i got is a 37.5 and they fit perfectly.. but i am normally a US 6...weird huh?

i just checked on one of their boxes where it says that the equivalent of 37.5 is a 7

ok fine. ill just give it a try for the 8

I hate to rain on the parade here, but what is so special about Manolos and why are they so damned expensive?

I have seen few styles that I might consider investing in. But for the price, I much prefer Jimmy Choos, Via Spiga, Dior, Gucci, even Steve Madden.

they are actually done much better than some other brands.. (one likes to believe)
.. lets not deny that one pays most for the label itself..

but just like CHOO (which is probs the only shoes i wear all the time when i go out) they got cushioned soles (which makes a HUUUUUGE difference... )and i personally prefer such shoes to any DIOR or GUCCI.

my best friend is a couture shoe designer who learned at the same school as Choo and she told me what the difference is between a Manolo for instance and a Gucci.
all i can remember of the steps she showed me is that manolos are a tad bit more complex.

but overall, i like manolos because they are just classics, timeless, sexy

Well thank you for explaining, Leyla. At least there is engineering involved and not all design or label. Maybe I need to get myself more acquainted with them....or maybe not since there is that chance I'll be hooked to the point of no return!

Ok I do have those but thankfully they are avalable at the Manolo Blahnik boutique in New york they are waiting for their reorder of it to come in my sales associate told me they might get it in from april to may and that shoe was only made for the costume dept of sex and the city originaly but they were flooded with calls for it so they decided to comercialize it and it sold out almost immediatly so they reordered it and they are still waiting for it so if you want it please call them and ask for "Sedarby" with the diamante buckle in sliver and ask them to hold one in your size for you Manolo Blahnik New york: 212-582-3007

Leyla, have fun with your shoes!the pink "Campari" mary-janes are to die for...i think they were also made in baby blue

I think the heel on this pair is amazing, but i dont like the pattern on the toe strap

but what i find strange is that every MANOLO heel is different

these are the best shoes IMO, classic and timeless
but i still want them in bubblegum pink
