i know this is an old design, but i finally succumbed to my dream shoes, the sedaraby in a burnished gold, and lower heel (the original is 4", but this season it came in a more do-able 3"blush:

i am absolutely in love. even in freezing cold NY weather, i try to coordinate my going-out outfits to my darling shoes. and without fail, i've gotten compliments on them wherever i go.

my first manolos ever, and they cost me a small fortune, but absolutely no regrets.

For the first time today, I tried on a pair of Manolo's. The patent leather Mary-Janes to be exact. I'm' a size 10 in all the regular shoes, but the 10/40 were too small. And that's the largest size they had. I could get them on, but the hurt when I walked, especially in the toe part. So I might be an 11 in Manolos.
