hey! no I couldn't get thru all day. they usually turn the phones off when its insane nuts busy.

they were normally 3,000 USD and I got for $800 and its a VERY classic shape.

last year I got 4 inch Froda which is a very traditional shape...pump in plum croc...for $800.

I will just make sure to save more next sale to get more croc.

I love them!

i recall both of you got a pair of manolo green bow patent sandals (with white and black details). i saw this pair in HK but the green part and ankle strap is replaced by navy blue patent. now it's on sale and 50% off. do you think it's good? also, will it stretch a lot? i'm thinking between 38 and 38.5. thanks

ah, there was a sale at Myer (Aust) the past couple of weeks where Manolos were going out the door for $80 AUD a pair!! Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough, and it seems some of them are popping up on ebay now.

here is my first fall shoe! call the Sigar. The boutique only did it and only got 22 in!!! they are almost sold out.

they are a bit odd but I love them. so different.

Hi ladies, I'm new to Manolos (have been addicted to Louboutin's all along and continue to retain my brand loyalty there....but am trying to branch out a bit) and have a few questions regarding heel heights. Having gotten so used to Louboutin shoes, I think I can only handle 4-inch heels now; anything lower my foot will have a hard time getting re-calibrated to. It seems that most Manolos come in 3-3.5 inch heels, some even lower.....are the more popular styles available also in 4+ inch versions?

E.g. Does the "Campari" Mary Jane style come in different heel heights? What is the highest version? Is a 4 inch heel (or 4+ inch heel?) available anywhere? NM/Bergdorf/etc. seem to only carry the 3-3.5 inch version.

And what about the "Farinelli" -- I saw guccigal07's orange croc Farinelli's a couple of pages back & those are simply TO DIE FOR!! I'd kill for a pair of those any day. Does the "Farinelli" come in diff't heel height variations as well? What's the highest? 4 inches, or higher?

Are these styles routinely stocked at Manolo Blahnik boutiques?

And one last question for thought -- How come Manolo's don't go for astronomical prices on ebay while Louboutin's seem to skyrocket in price these days? Any thoughts?

Neiman Marcus, etc order alot of the lower heels for their customers.

I only wear 4 inches and above. I buy ALL my s hoes at the boutique.

I have the mary jane campari and love them! If you want the 105 mm/4 inch version PM me and I will give you my SA to call you when they come in.

Alot of times if you see something on NM you like...get the name and call the boutique. They only order 4 inch and above in the hot styles.

My orange crocs are 4 inches.

I just buy from the boutique. Here and there you can get 4 inches at Neimans....esp this season. They are doing ALOT of 4 inches.

I have alot of pics but it takes TOO long to post. so if ppl pm me with their email I will email them.

so in conclusion......if you need a Manolo in a high heel...pm me and I can let you know. I talk to my manolo SA all the time.

In fact Manolo does alot of 115 mm or like 5 inch heels.

take a look back a few pages at my collection of Manolos...all are 4 inches and above. I only have one 3.5 inch and it was a special edition Godiva shoe.

as for the prices on ebay. Christian Louboutin GIVES shoes to clients...and hands them all out. We see all the celebs wearing them...hence increasing demand...and the attention on them.

Manolo Blahnik doesn't give ANYONE shoes. In fact Sarah Jessica Parker pays for them. She gets a discount and gets them ahead of time....but they don't just give them out and push them.

Its all about the celebs. Whatever they are wearing....people want.

Also, Christian Louboutin I feel....will drop off ebay soon. It used to be only the boutiques ordered the hot styles.

The pigalle....and the helmut only the boutiques did. And only got like 1 per size....now Neimans, Saks, Bergdorf and Barneys are all ordering them.

So CLouboutins used to be limited production....just because nobody ordered them...now since they are hot sellers you can get them more.

Manolo Blahniks sell out fast but people arne't crazed.

Louboutins are super trendy right now. Manolo Blahnik doesn't go with the trends. That is why I love him so much. He makes shoes that last forever. I remember my very first Manolo. I love it the same amount I did then.

as for the Farinelli....they do that shape over. Its a traditional croc shoe...and last fall I bought in green with black lace overlay as well as grey with black lace overlay.
