my only issue is they seem a little small.....

gucci, shopping, candice (and anyone else that bought the dinamus) did you have to size up? (these are the same, but w/o the feather).

i am normally a 38.5, and sometimes even smaller in sandals. these fit, but my heel comes right to the edge..... but, i am worried the 39 might be too big....

planning to visit NMs tomorrow, but any insight is appreciated.

oh, and the pump i ordered (also a 38.5 is sooooo big! - i can literally fit three fingers in the back)......

go figure.....

I can't believe how precious some people are. I was only expressing an opinion. Don't get me wrong. I Love some of his designs and can see how influential he can be. But in general I feel he over eggs the pudding.

benno, I don't know how old you are...but our little poking fun at you had nothing to do about your opinion. its how you state your opinion and also the lack of maturity in coming into a thread and throwing that out there.

I wouldn't walk into a Ford car forum and say I think fords are tacky.

its about your choice of words and your need to express something that can be kept to yourself.

and again...my momma always taught me...if you don't have something nice to say...don't say anything at all. that's it. maybe you should take some wisdom in that.

but ANYWAY. back onto our fav Manolo Blahnik...

I will be wearing my feather shoes again this weekend to a Holiday party...I can't believe how much use I get out of them. they are comfy too!

Thanks all! I cannot believe how comfy they are.... I tried them on again and they fit And, when I tried on the next half size up -- they seemed a little too loose.....

Hello out there in Manolo-land.... it is quiet out there. I have come across some fabulous shoes in my recent Harper Bazaar Mags. In the 'shopping special' edition (ashley kate on cover) there are two separate showings of the uber fabulous green patent Quakens... Lauren Hutton dones them in a pictorial and again on pg 343 separate photo shoot a model is wearing the green Quaken with black tights!! In the 140th Anniversary issue Ms. Donna Karan is wearing a fabulous pair of black patent lace up Manolo's (Manolo Blahnik for Carolina Herrera). My apologies if these have always been spotted but they were definitely worth sharing if not.... Hope to see the Manolo board light up again soonB)

Hi roccapuccia...welcome to tFS! I posted that comment during a slight lull on the MB thread so it may not have been picked up yet..thanks for bringing it back to life. I would recommend we put a call out to guccigal07 for this one.... gucci, have you seen this MB for Carolina Herrera? It was actually in the Harpers Bazaar with Ashley Olsen on the cover. There was a segment shot around designers wearing their own creations and then that of a colleague. This particular MB was a patent leather laceup (not the Quaken) made by Manolo for Carolina Herrera? Have you heard or seen this?
