It was fun - so many beautiful styles.

Random questio but I'm writing about Manolo Blahnik for my spanish oral (has to be something/someone related to Spain) and I've found out a lot about him but does anyone know anything about his sexuality/people he's had in his life or anything? I can't find anything anywhere!

I'm really loving my new Sedarabys - every time I open the box I can't help but smile. They're gorgeous on, too, but here are some of my photos of the shoes themselves.

Yes, they are the 4 inchers, and the base of the heel has a really cool silver detail (right above the little rubber nubbin that hits the floor). I love those tiny details that really make such a difference to the shoe. I saw the lower-heeled version at Bergdorf's and they do not have this detail. The fabric is really beautiful and the black and white really pop when I'm wearing them. From the back they are so sexy.

Lucy Boy - I don't know, but there are a few books about Manolo Blahnik out there. I've not read them, but perhaps they might help you get to that answer, or at least steer you towards another source that can help you better. I'm thinking in particular of Blahnik by Bowman - again, I've not read it but perhaps someone else here has? Or perhaps you could check it out? I checked Amazon.com and searched "Manolo Blahnik" and there is also a book by Colin McDowell that might help you out. Good luck - that sounds like a really interesting research project!

these came into the boutique...they are also on style.com accessories report for spring.

they are cute but not enough for me to get them.
