Presenting my Marie Antoinette shoes that Manolo made for the movie. I'm so lucky to be able to find them as they're so rare and sold out almost everywhere. I took a chance and called the Manolo boutique in Hong Kong and they had one in my size! They were shipped overnight express to me and I just got them!

WOW...I ad no idea they were making them outside of the film! What a great find...

My Manolos!

Finally took a moment to take a photo of the current Manolo collection post some downsizing. As you can see I favor the Sedaraby d'orsay style. I love when they do it in a print versus just one solid color...like the jacquard and the camoflauge shown here. Recently got rid of pink catalinas that I wore for my wedding (I found this style hard to walk in....the Sedaraby has more material/support on the front of your foot to anchor you in...the d'orsay is so open you need something more there)...they were fabulous though and worked great for the one day event. I also sold my blue Hangisi from the SATC movie that arrived recently. Loved them but post-wedding expenses needed to cut back some...couldn't part with the purple or the raspberry Sedaraby and something needed to go. If a 42 is still around next at bonus time come February I may get these babies again.

these are definitely classics I hope to use for a lifetime; worth the 'investment'. I love the bling! I rocked the camoflauge ones to the Janet Jackson concert here last week with a camoflauge baseball cap and jacket. I was giving my best Hip Hop glam/Rhythm Nation look

Velony, yes I had a dilemma when the raspberry, purple and Hangisi SATC Something Blue all came around the same time a few weeks ago in the mail. The raspberry was a given for me...I adore fuschia! But either the purple or Hangisi had to go. It is always hard to part with shoes because size 42 is hard to come by...if I don't preorder I may never find them again...so the purple won...I figured I'd get more use out of them and I love purple more than blue. I have a ton of purple accessories to rock with them...I don't own much of anything in blue...one of my least fav colors. But maybe next year!

Manolo Blahnik designed the first open-toe boots I actually like. Most of you know that I'm not feeling ankle-boots no matter how giddy and excited most femmes are. However, the only reason why I've liked these Manolo Blahnik "Vella" booties was because I've seen boots like these before back in the late 1990s and thought they were okay. They obviously weren't $755 like these Manolos, but they're the only real ankle boots I like... somewhat. Still not excited about these.

"FALLO" style in black patent?

need some help from my Manolo experts here......

does anyone know where i can find the FALLO pump in BLACK PATENT in the 105mm or higher heel? it's this gorgeous new style recently worn by ashley olsen to her book promotion events (on GMA, barneys signings, etc.).

barneys has it in the kid leather version only, and only in the 90mm heel which i find just mediocre. neither the NYC nor the las vegas manolo boutiques ordered this style at all. has anyone seen the black patent 105mm (or higher) @ NM? or BG? or anywhere else?

labellavita - i would try asking the NYC boutique. perhaps they can tell you which stores did order that style.

i am almost always unimpressed with the MB styles Barneys orders (yet, they are so right with other designers). 100% agree that the Fallo is mediocre in 90mm and flat leather, but amazing in patent and the higher heel!

The Fallo pumps from Post #3,376 are pretty lovely. My turn-off was that strappy design. However, those are still a nice pair of pumps. Those are pretty lovely pumps.
