My two special orders from the Manolo Blahnik boutique have arrived: Presa in green patent leather especially made with 90mm heels (instead of the normal 105mm) in size 35 and Hangisi in black satin especially made with 90mm round metal heels in size 34.5!

It took two months for the boutique to make the shoes for me.

If you don't mind my asking, how much MORE than the regular price is it to have the shoes special order. Due to an injury I can't do taller heels. I didn't know this was an option!

Where is that boutique? is it online? I've been looking for AGES for a Manolo shop online which sends shipping to Europe!

congrats on the special order! They look lovely. 4"-5" are hard enough on my feet (6.5-7), I can't even imagine the slope if your feet were 34.5-35! Nice to be able to lower the heel height a bit, and get the exact same look!

For those interested, Barney's has a variety of manolo's on sale (for around 250-400). There are some gorgeous pairs, but unfortunately, nothing in my size in the style I want.

Just popping in to say hey.... MB got a mention in a movie of the week last night with Mira Sorvino... The Last Templar....ridiculous scene..the girl jumps on a horse and races through Central Park and 'snaps a heel on her Manolos'..... another sighting a few moments later...a fabulous gold sequined MB pump! My husband spotted the Manolos....

I love his shoes, but I anyway kind of agree with you. The arch is much more curved on the drawings than irl, and that is a real pity.

My first Manolos

I've always been a Louboutin fan but had such poor service today in Mount Street me and my BFF went to the Blahnik store in Old Church Street. OMG I bought the C Vappeur (that's what it says on the box) and my BFF bought me the pink Bottana (for my wedding shoes). They are the best and most comfortable shoes I've got - I am definitely a fan

they have an awesome pair of gold manolo's on sale on barneys.com at the moment but only in size 11. I'm hoping the store itself will have some hidden treasures when I visit next week...
