Hey guys,
Sorry to bring up the whole Ringo obsession again but I have a query and I would be so grateful if you guys could help me out especially as it would be my first pair of Manolo's . There's a pair on ebay for $399.00 and I know that's probably overpriced as they've been on sale now but I don't mind that.

My only worry is that they're fake, is that a common occurence on ebay? Also the reason I think they may not be authentic is because the end of the shoe is rounded off as opposed to a square/rectangular shape that all the Ringo shoes on this thread have. If anyone has the time to look here's the item no. 110160256890. Last question do they fit true to size as I usually wear a 36?

i think the black is exclusive to neimans (?) so maybe they have a rounded toe?
but that wouldnt make sense really.. maybe guccigal could kindly help out or anyone else who owns the black?

I'm in between, I dont think they're great but their not bad either.

Ankle boots are my favorite but I didnt see all that many I like this season. What about vuitton? They had some stamped ankle boots that are kinda nice and I also liked a pair from MJ.

i wanted these last winter and couldn't find my size and foot candy got a super late delivery.

but i think i'm lukewarm on them too and won't buy them...

it does seem like there should be more ankle boots to like.

I've actually seen several different versions of the "Ringo" -- it really depends on what each dept. store or boutique chose to order. For example, Barneys had the "Ringo" with platform, Neiman's had the regular no-platform "Ringo" with square/rectangular toe cut, Bergdorf's ordered the no-platform "Ringo" with ROUNDED toe cut (perhaps also another variation) and a slightly-different shaped heel. But those are the ones I've seen with my own eyes. Boutiques could have ordered yet another variation.

I have the black Ringo's. I picked them up from a friend of mine. They were from Barney's, square toe and with a platform. I popped over to EBay and the seller you're looking at has been around a long time, the photos look legitimate, their previous buyers seem satisfied and the price is very reasonable. to ealrier point, there were several different styles pending on the store or boutique. Louboutin is the same way in many styles....As for sizing...I am a 39 in Manolo's and my Ringos are actually 38.5. For quite sometime, the Ringo was quite difficult to come by however there have been a few Ringo's in Rose and Nude as well floating around on Ebay lately. Lastly, keep in mind, if they turn out to be copies, you do have recourse within EBay. Good Luck...

PS. I just love my Ringo's!

yeah. Blahnik is the classic Oxford/specatator pump. He did them before they were trendy....they were last season. they probably are not doing this season. check ebay

yep those are mine. where did you get that pic? I thought I deleted my old attachments.

Neimans did them in black and white. you can find some on ebay too.

this past spring I bought the same type shoe except sections were cut out and it was suede of pink and tan.

OH MY
my sis in law just arrived today from london and showed me a new pair of manolos she bought.
i will post pics soon. she got the silver and all her friends attacked the green patent
also come in black and gold apparently and used for a show.
once i post the pics maybe gucci can reveal .

BUT, she wore them tonight and could hardly walk in them!!
