They were nothing as glamourous as Carrie's. They were harness boots, and I wasn't wearing them. It was the early 90s...think grunge.

I am so excited....After reading about the SAC shoes on sale in Dubhai, I contacted my good friend who just recently got posted over there. I gave her the name of the mall and she called and indeed they are on sale for approximately $600 and they can mail it to me here for about $45-50 !!!! They have the following available, Plae pink in 39.5, pale green in 39 and black in 36... they didn't get the blue....I'm going to get the pale pink I figure its still almost $300+ dollars less than I would pay to Neimans or Berg......
I can't wait!!!! She metioned they had loads of Louboutin on sale too....I'm going to enquire further on that when she emails me!!!

Guccigal they look fabulous..........Now I wonder if I can justify keeping the blue I had pre-ordered as well as the baby pink coming form Dubhai. Did you order yours from Berg or Neimans? I got a letter saying they would not ship untill sometime in Oct !!!!!!!

jules4u...I got them from the NY boutique. I know the NM and bergdorf website says that the shoes won't ship until Oct, but someone has seen them in the stores so maybe call and see if they have them in?

There are so many gorgeous styles in the boutique right now! Oh my goodness! I walked through yesterday and fell in love with way too many of them. I'm on (another) shoe ban until September, but man it was difficult to leave that store empty-handed! I love the different fabrications of the Sedaraby with different styles of brooches, the exotics in pink and green, a pair of sandals that had rosebuds at the ends of their ankle wraps so they looked like climbing rose vines when worn. Tons of very special shoes for sale right now.

And tons of special MBs ON sale at Barneys right now - anyone make any sale purchases?

Oh! And if these weren't suede, they would definitely be on my September list. I don't do well with suede, unfortunately, but I find them beautiful.

One more thing - I also saw these in the boutique. I had seen them posted on style.com months ago and really liked them, but wasn't sure about the ankle part of it. Someone was trying them on while I was there, and they are so flattering. Seriously - it was like this woman's foot was transformed! Amazing!

I really wanted to take several pictures, but I don't think the SAs would have liked that too much. Of course, I would much rather have taken them all home and posted pictures with them on my feet!

Oh well...

I just looked at Neimans (I rarely look at them because they're not near here) and saw these. I love the leather and the distressing on the boots! Wonder how they look on... not sure about the flare at the top and how high they'd hit on the calf, but they might be cool.

And I posted the second picture because the exotics in pink and green that I was talking about above are just like this pair. So imagine that shape and detailing but in pink or green! And there was a matching clutch!

Sayrahtee Those Brown Croc Sedarabys are amazing! I saw a pair on sale at BG (yes, I slipped in though I was not supposed to!), but they were still quite a bit more than $2000. I felt so sorry for them on those horribly cruel sale racks.

I saw the soft colors you mentioned at the boutique not too long ago. They are so beautiful.

I love how you really appreciate the details. You always make me take a closer look.

I always feel bad for the sale shoes, too! Especially when the sale's been going on for awhile and when they're really special shoes, like exotics.
