Back on topic, does MJ's marc jacobs line seem to be going up in prices a bit? seems like it to me. i wonder if it's because of the third line he plans on doing....

Interesting observation!

I haven't been following MbMJ for long, but it does seem like the highest price is now reaching $458. It seems like the older bags retailed for around $398 or a little bit more than that.

I really don't see a need for a third line in my opinion. I feel that in some way it will kind of devalue the stuff that people have bought in the past for hundreds of dollars (both MJ and MbMJ). Is that a weird thought?!!

there's this really cute canvas bag on eluxury right nw, about $130-sumthing....with sparrows on it...really cute. i wish he'd do more bags like those, as i'm starting to feel that M by MJ are getting a bit too pricey IMO.

Ok, so i got the teri tote yesterday...i like it in everything except for one thing: the weight! Is it me or the bag seems very heavy even when it's empty? Maybe i feel it because i never had such a big leather bag before....so i'm debating whether to keep it and try to get used to the extra weight, or return it thus losing quite a lot of money on shipping+ taxes.....aaaaah, decisions....really p****es me off as the bag is perfect in everything else. Advice girls? Does any of you suffer for the extra weight of a teri or another MJ bag on the shoulder?

mj bags are WAY heavier than most handbags....if you collect MJ, it's sorta the thing you have to deal with. or you could say MJ made your muscles!

^ hahaha for serial - i could never carry a padlock paddington. ive been using my turnlock teri extensively lately because i have to carry a lot of files and magazines and i just love the pockets. yes, it can get heavy but i think it also has a lot to do with me stuffing as much stuff as possible (it does fit A LOT). i was wary of the weight too but i have to say it is one of my most functional (and stylish) bags.

I just bought the Fariah Shoulder bag which is HUGE and HEAVY, probably heavier than the paddington with lock! When i take it shopping (with only phone, makeup, credit cards - no wallet, too heavy - and sunglasses inside) my boyfriend has to help me carry it half the time! The funny thing is it's so big that it actually looks like HIS bag, fits on his shoulder and everything I'm really happy with it though. This is my first MbMJ bag. The leather is soft and yummy, nice colour and great stitching. Great price too!

This one is quite heavy! I would imagine the one from the Turnlock series to be less heavy.

^Yes, that is the one I have but in chalk. It is stupidly heavy! The irony is I bought it to use as a work tote but probably can't use it for work, unless I stay in the office all day....Still love it though, been craving a big bag for ages and this one is almost perfect

Silk: That bag is gorgeous! I've been wanting one for months but the thing is I live in Europe and I can't find any online store, who ships to europe, that carries the bag in brown. Or Chicory it might be called.

I know NAP has one but it is in green
