I saw this bag at Bloomingdales and thought it was way too tiny for me... but it looks larger on you! Hm.

Has anyone see the Cordovan color IRL? I think people who missed out on the firebird last year were looking towards the cordovan of this year.. but the color is muuuch darker than firebird. I was sort of disappointed. I was going to pick up a wallet.

Nope, It's the Groove. When I saw it on the shelf and even when I wear it I don't think it's really that large... that is until I took the pictures and saw that it was actually quite large on me lol.

It looks fabulous on you! I have to say it looks better on the crook of your arm more so than when it's worn with the strap - it kind of loses its shape! Either way, congrats on your new bag and thanks for the pics again!! It seems like the perfect sized bag!!

Thanks telicious! Glad I could help with the pictures. Yeah, I don't really wear it with the strap unless I'm going to or home from work and the subway is absolutely jammed packed lol.

I am thinking of it as a book bag for school, and I need to be able to fit textbooks in it. Does anyone own this bag or seen it in person? I would love to hear more about it...such as how roomy it is, how it feels, etc. Thanks!

It looks enormous, fashionandstyle, it would surely fit anything you need for school in it! The padded straps look comfy when heavy, too. Love that firebird colour..

I think the one on shopbop.com is Cordovan, not firebird. I've seen the Cordovan IRL and it's a much deeper... burgandy, wine ish color... when compared to firebird, that is.

Also, the brown is really dark.. in the pictures I have seen it's so close to black which makes me unsure.

just_me: the bag holds quite a lot of stuff, I tend to either have it really empty or extremely packed. Only when it get too full, you have to adjust it a bit sometimes on your shoulder..it does get kinda heavy I'll tell you that. As for the colour, I refuse to buy black bags, weird I know but I've just always been like that...the bag is a really gorgeous deep chocolate brown. You really must see it in person!

oh my gosh, you MUST get the bag!! marc by MJ is getting better by every line, this is definitely comparable to the turnlock line (leather is awesome, design is to die for, etc)

Does anyone here own the Turnlock Quinn? I'm thinking of purchasing it to use as a school bookbag, but the dimensions listed show it as being 16 x 10.5 inches. If anyone here has it, could you please tell me if you can fit a standard sized notebook in it?

I just recieved my Softy Faridah in chicory - from S/S 07- which I finally managed to get my hands on trough ebay. And I love it! It is not as big and heavy I feared it would be and the colour is not as orange as it looks in the stock photos, it will probably age wonderfully too!
I just wanted to share my happyness with you guys and congrats to all your new Marc bags...

I want to introduce everyone to my new baby. I got it from my mom as a late/additional bday present. It's sooooo cute and really sturdy and it has a little attached pouch inside that is the same blue/pink stripe as the shirt on miss marc.

I just purchased this bag on nm.com! I checked it out on zappos.com first because I love all their pics and it looks fabulous! I'd love the groove too but I think I'll use this more often! Anyone seen this irl? TIA!
