I don’t like seeing designers inserting themselves in campaigns.
I still very much like this image though.
yeah get marc out of here
At first I thought it's like a picture from those photo booths or whatever Kardashians occasionally use for their party pictures cause it certainly doesn't look like a campaign.
But I'm here for it! I can't wait to see more of Christy (without Marc)
It looks like they gave him the Kate Moss treatment. Christy looks beautiful though.
I love it. I´m a sucker for this vintage-y photos by Meisel. I don´t even care about Marc and his fake looking beard... I hope that he´s not in every pic though.
Christy will always be iconic:
- that face
- these eyes
- that presence and glamour
- this charm and sincerity that comes out of her
That´s why I looove looove so much legendary models like her and Linda and all these incredible women from the 80´s and 90´s because they made a mark in popculture and went far beyond the world of fashion doing other things and being business women all while still maintaing their `day job´ and reminding all the models of today that being a great model is not about `likes´ or `followers´ or `fame´ it´s about bettering that posing skill and literally having millions of people worldwide being in awe in front of beautiful pictures like these. I´m sure that in 10 years we will still see Christy model and she will be just as a good because these women get better with age but I also firmly know that these instabrats/instanobody will not be there in the next 10 years, it will be other girls lol.
I find this very charming and it’s not a word I use frequently when it comes to campaigns. I don’t mind Marc fronting his own campaign... I find it less forced than when Jason Wu started to do it.
marc be coming off as desperate now. like, i think he has hella extra time since he just focuses on his own label, that now he misses the attention. i do love this campaign though. i love christy, and even though marc is more visible with his own brand these days, he's very much his own living caricature in this shot. the focus is not on the clothes though, so, the goal is missing it's mark, marc.
Sublime! I have been very much looking forward to the Marc Jacobs's campaign especially after how much I fell in love with last season featuring Primrose Archer. The first portrait shot is undeniably charming, love the retro styling on Christy. The magic of Meisel has struck once again!
Must admit that I could've done with Marc in the images too, but I refuse to let his presence ruin it for me.
Love this. But Marc has been photoshopped to death. He doesn't look like that anymore.
Marc does look better without clothes.
Well, I guess I'll have to photoshop Marc out of some of those... I can't with his slick greasy hairstyle and his entire presence in this campaing, it's very Riccardo for Givenchy and I'm not feeling it
Adore this! Christy looks wonderful (thank God she's in the campaign; it would have been criminal to have only used her for the show) and I mean, we all know that Marc is an attention seeker, so I honestly love him for it. It makes this whole campaign fun and something only he could pull off right now.
New campaign image:
I adore this. But Christy does not need all that Photoshop to begin with!
I think Marc in them is very cute, actually. I just wish they didn't use his face from 2009 as the Photoshop reference...
This is all kinds of wonderful! Classic yet whimsical
oh, look another 90's supermodel. So original
