Marc Jacobs for Wrangler

Has anyone else heard about this? It was in this months issue of Details. Marc Jacob created a slim fitting jean jacket for Wrangler. It's supposed to hit a few specialty shops, and Barney's and Neiman Marcus in July.

Retail is $400


I'm just wondering if he'll be doing anything else.

Yeah I thought it was pretty weird.

I can't imagine spending that much on a Wrangler jean jacket, even it MJ had a hand in it.

Im just wondering if the natural course of things is that he will do more..........like jeans etc.

That's really pricey for Wrangler. I guess die hard MJ fans will buy it.

I do remember the Built by Wendy line. So... nice ... to know they're at it again, trying to hippefy their name. (hippefy - v., to make hip; see: hippeficate, hippendum, hippephilia...)

I Google'd Mr. Blobby because I had a hunch about him being a strictly British creation who I'd need help identifying, and it seems he's in fine company:

But if it's going to be in NM soon............should be on the website as well.
