Marc Jacobs Jacket

However, I'm not familiar with Marc Jacobs clothing quality. Is this jacket worth $139, or should I find something better? Any alternative suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, guys and gals. I just bought it. Plus, I got free shipping.

I don't really need it right now, so I'm thinking of wrapping it up and giving it to myself for Christmas. Then I'll actually have something under the tree other than the money that I'd use to buy it and other clothes anyway. This will be much more fun.

So does anyone have any comments about the general quality of Marc Jacobs clothing? I've heard the bags are crap, but that doesn't always say much. Anything I should look out for? This jacket's not going to burst into flames when I put it on, is it? 'Cause if it does, I'm sending it back in an ashtray with a letter of disapproval.

I obviously need to get some sleep.

Marc jacobs clothing is very high quality IMO. I have several pieces and they have all held up well...including a denim jacket I have by him. Even with his t-shirts, mine haven't faded and the silkscreening hasn't faded, peeled, etc. either. You def get what you pay for quality wise with him.

It came today, and it's sooooo much nicer than it looks in the picture! You can't see all the stitch detailing and the zippers on the arms, and the fabric looks way different in real life. Thanks everyone for the feedback.

It's from Smart Bargains. It's "unusually alright" because it's not from a current collection. It's a women's jacket, by the way. But it fits like it was made for me.
