One of the most popular faces and sought-after models of the moment - Mariacarla Boscono, simply known as Mariacarla, is having a major popularity moment after being chosen to be the face of three internationally acclaimed fashion houses for their 2012 ad campaigns. On the web she has already been nicknamed queen of the season, and rightly so.
Riccardo Tisci has chosen his long-time friend and muse Mariacarla to star alongside Gisele in the next Givenchy campaign shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. As well as Givency, Stefano Pilati has also singled her out to be the face of the SS 2012 campaign for Yves Saint Laurent shot by David Sims. Lastly but not least, the campaign for Missoni: shot by photographer Juergen Teller, it features the Italian top-model alongside the Spanish director Pedro Almodovar.
