^^I am sure she was stoned!!! Have you ever read her autobiography, Faithfull? I could not put it down!!! I have read it several times.

She did lots and lots of drugs!! She lived on a wall for a year doing heroin!!

She looks good for doing all those drugs, she aged better than Anita, who I am sure used just as much (if not more).

It's one of the best books ever. I was shocked - and saddened - whenever I saw her autobiography in the $1.00 bin at some bookstore once. I did buy several copies for my friends and made Marianne fans out of them!

I think she aged better than Anita too. I think Anita could have aged better if she had not started drinking so much after she quit using heroin. Plus, Marianne always had such beautiful, fair skin...and even in Anita's photos from her early 20's, her pores were quite large. She looks like she has a lot of sun damage.

I think it's so cute how they're still such good friends. I love them!

Agreed. It is one of my all time favorite autobiographies. Just an amazing life.....and she's still going!!! One of my "Edie" friends told me to read it and I could not put it down!!!

I think you are right on about the sun damage. Almost all the old photos of Marianne in some tropical location, show her covered from head to toe.

Who doesn't love Mare & Antia!!!??? They are ABFAB!!!(they both look tan in this pic)
