British singer and actress Marianne Faithfull poses before the Women's World Awards ceremony on March 5, 2009 in Vienna. The gala ceremony will honor today twelve women, among whom, Italian actress Monica Bellucci, 10 year old Yemeni Nujood Ali, Irish Nobel Peace Prize laureat Betty Williams, whose achievements in a variety of fields are seen to give courage and provide inspiration to millions of others.

I think she looks remarkable for a woman of her age and even more so when you consider the hard live she lived.

You're welcome. Well, yes, I would have been able to watch it last night as they broadcasted it, but unfortunately we don't have a TV because it broke down a week before last Christmas. So, no I couldn't watch the show.

Anyway, it really made my evening last night to know she was less than 40 kilometres away from me!! Even though I didn't see her, even though I wasn't there, it was just such a great feeling!
