Agreed. I can see why Anna has used her so much. She's rather formidable.

It's nice to see that she had two spreads in the latest issue instead of the usual one. I'm not much for her work at Vogue US, but she's still my favorite stylist so It's nice to see that she's doing well.

Also, is she confirmed as Fashion Director at W? I really hope she is, because I feel that W is a better magazine to foster her talent as it is not as mainstream as Vogue.

Alex [White] has worked with you extensively on September. What about Anna Dello Russo?
I love Anna, but she has a great job at Japanese Vogue that she quite likes and I don’t have any idea to actually move her to New York. She’s a good friend, but I didn’t really even have a conversation with her about this seriously. She’s a fashion director, but she’s not necessarily the one that’s doing shoots and maybe that’s what I’m looking for. Alex is doing that, and that’s what we need at W.

CM: How did you come up with the idea to shoot Marie Amelie Sauve in her Balenciaga archives?

KG: She and I had spoken about working together for years now and we never have… It very nearly happened on every single issue of LOVE. She was kind of saying to me, “who shall I photograph?” and I knew we were doing this thing on Iconic women and I wanted not for everyone in the magazine to be a model or actress. We had talked about photographing her archives and it kind of seemed obvious that she should be the person wearing the archives rather than someone else. She asked if Willy could photograph her and I really liked the idea and then they ended up shooting at Nicola’s country house which came out beautifully.

Marie is my absolute favorite stylist and fashion idol. I have reread the article on her in Industrie no less than ten times. Her perspective and ideas are an endless inspiration.

Does anyone have a list of the shows she has styled apart from Balenciaga and Chloe? I know she has worked with Gucci on their advertising campaigns in the past (Spring 2006, Fall 2006, etc) but does she also style their shows?

She also styled the recent Roberto Cavalli shows, and Phi when it still existed. Last season she also styled The Row's show.
Not 100% sure about Gucci but I think Emmanuelle is doing both the shows and campaigns now.
