In 2008, The Festival of Classical Theater in Almagro celebrates its 31st year with a thematic discourse on women in classical theater. Women authors, actresses, and protagonists across time will be celebrated.

For the occasion, the Festival of Almagro will host a parade in which grand fashion designers will exhibit outfits inspired by the world of the woman in theater between the 17th and 19th centuries.

Seven Spanish designers will participate, including Elio Bernhayer, Jesús del Pozo, Francis Montesinos, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Devota&Lomba, Miguel Palacio and Ana Locking. Each one will display five designs inspired by the female culture of this historic period.
