The black moons underneath her eyes at Balanciaga are a little disturbing, but the other pics are gorgeous. The other day I found such hot pics of her, but I can't recall what show they were from

She did so many shows in Madrid! (Yana too Mullet, and also Ciara I think)

(from vogue.es ;) )

( dont understand Spanish, so I'd really appreciate it if someone could translate the interview...:flower: )

Oh, btw, sorry if this has been posted before...

Never mind, I used freetranslation.com and this came up(it's kind of weird though, sorry:blush: ) :

My strong point are the eyes, and I try to exploit them al maximum.” Arrived al world of the fashion at the age of eleven of the hand of its mother, that was who encouraged to sit for catalogues and announcements. Now, at the age of 20, not for to work. The prize L' Oréal to the model revelation in the Runway Cibeles launched it al success. Now lives in The Angels and its meter strolls seventy-eight, its harmonious measures and its sensual blue eyes by the runways by the runways of the most important designers.

Vogue.es.-: ¿How learned to be model? Marine Pérez. -: Never I learned a method neither I went to a school of models. I absorbed everything that I know seeing the television and setting me a lot. I am very observadora and immediately I grasp what interests myself. So my career has not followed the logical order.

V. -: ¿can be given for finished the “boom” of the Spanish models to international level? M.P.-: Unfortunately in the United States I am the Spanish only model that does parades. Vanesa Lorenzo and Natalia López work well in editorial, but to travel through “fittings” and to enter the casting of the American designers only I have remained I. In September surely we will be two, since comes Arantxa Santamaría.

V. -: ¿why believes that this is owed? M.P.-: As all in the life they are fashions, tendencies that go and they come. It depends on the seasons a specific image is sought. They tell me to me that my fort are the eyes and I try to exploit it al maximum.

Do V. -: ¿Why has its point of reference in The Angels if the “moved” is in New York? M.P.-: (Risas....) My boyfriend Derek lives there and has a very cute apartment that share. Up to now we lived on rent but now has bought the “penthouse” of the building and we are decorating him. He is a sportsman, he practices snowboard to professional level, and to the two we he like a lot of The Angels. Now I carry month and middle in Paris, in summer I will pass a week in Spain and then, of return to United States.

V. -: ¿Is very different the work that you do in Europe with that of United States? M.P: In Europe I work a lot the editorial and magazines. I have just done a report for Vogue France, for example. Al another side of the puddle they call me more for parades.

V. -: ¿What do you miss of your country? M.P.-: above all I lack my family, to which I see very little. Also strange the here, a lot more relaxed way to live on and with greater quality of life that there. At any rate, I am all the day hooked al telephone. If it counted you which has been my last invoice of mobile would scandalize you..

V. -:Cuenta, account.. M.P.-: That itself not my mother be informed. ...pero the last invoice has been of slightly more than two thousand euro. Not this badly, ¿eh?.

V. -: ¿AND what is what more you like of the United States? M.P.-: The people I love. In The Angels, wide open everyone, they have very good roll. Besides, it is a place where many facilities they offer you for all: is possible to find any thing to any hour of the day. Is an active and wide open city.

V. -:¿Hay something that itself reproach? M.P.-: at times me I tell to my same one that should have more ambition. To arrive far away in this profession one must know to be moved, to be placed in the adequate photo, to go with the convenient contacts, to be high and to be always divine. And in this world there is enough falsehood, something that I carry fatal.

V. -: ¿In what hobbies you find the way to disconnect of your work? M.P.-: Alestar continuously travelling me refuge in the music and the reading to pass the while and to entertain me. Among my favorite groups is U2 and to read, depends on my state of humor, but of Pérez-Reverts or Coelho to novels of adventures, I am capable of devour it all.

Umm, it's a crap translation, I admit it.:p

oh you fv, i spent 20 minutes translating this for you!
most of my translation is pretty rudimentary, spanish might be my first language but i'm not in the mood for breaking my head thinking about Spanish slangs and a way to make them sound realistic in english :D

how did you learn to be a model?

-i never learned a method nor i atteneded a modeling school. i absorbed everything i know from watching tv and observing a lot. i'm quite an observer and i understand what interests me right away. so my career hasnt followed a logical order.

cant we say 'over' to the spanish boom in international catwalks?

- unfortunarely in the US i'm the only spanish model doing shows. Vanessa Lorenzo and Natalia Lopez do well in editorials but when it comes to running for fittings and get in american designers' castings, i'm the one that's left. in september we'll probably be two since Arantxa Santamaria is coming.

why do you think that is? [decline of spanish boom].

- like everything in life, it's a trend, tendencies that come and go. depending on the season you look for a determined image. they say my strong point are the eyes and i try to get the most out of it.

why is your reference point in Los Angeles if everything's in NYC?

- (laughs) my boyfriend derek lives there and he has a nice apartment that we both share. until recently we lived in an apartment but we just bought the penthouse of the building and we're decorating it. he's a jock, he does snowboard at a professional level and we both love L.A. . now i've been in Paris for a month and a half, i'll spend a week in Spain and then back to the US.

is it any different the work you do in Europe than the one you do in the US?

-in Europe i work a lot for magazines and editorials. i just did an article for French Vogue for instance. across the 'ocean'* they call me more for shows.

what do you miss more about your country?

-on top of everything, i need my family, which i see occasionally. i also miss the way of life here ..it's more relaxed and it's more quality life than there. i'm always on the phone anyway. if i'd tell you about my last cell phone bill you'd go nuts..

tell us, tell us

-let my mom not be aware...but my last bill was more than 2 thousand euros. not bad, huh?

and what do you like the most about the US?

i love the people. in L.A. everyone is so open ---. also, it's a place where they offer you facilities for everything: you can find anything at any time. it's a very open and active city.

is there something you blame yourself of?

- i always tell myself i should have more ambition. to get far in this profression you need to know how to move in it, place yourself in the right photo, go with the convenient contacts, being tall, always divine. and there's a lot of falseness in this world, something i dont go along with.

in which hobbies do you find a way to disconnect from your work?

when travelling
continuously i find refuge in music and reading, for having a good time and entertaining myself. U2 among my favorite bands and when reading, it depends on my mood but from Perez-Reverte o Coelho to adventures, i'm ready to eat it all up.
