What's happening with her? Why is she so underrated?

She should be at every Chanel show, she's a very modern girl B) (I don't like this word but let's see if Karl read it and I convince him) and feature at least one campaign for the brand and another one for Prada!! She's a Prada girl! She'd have a lot of covers in Vogue Paris and Vogue Italy, and the next Lanvin campaign should be hers!

(I'd be happy with a single cover for Vogue Spain :(). I'm pretty sure the next editor will give her one...:shifty:

It's such a shaaaaame! (Let's pronounce it with the rhythm of "not fair"... at the end I'm going to like it  ).

I still think maybe a change in hair color or cut would benefit her. As much as I like the dark hair, maybe a change could reinvent her?

I dont want her to cut her hair but maybe it would amp up her career.
She is under rated, when girls like Karlie Kloss book major campaings and editorials and someone as high fashion and beautiful as Marina books fashion shows and less than most editorials.

I think foreverandnone means something like what has happened to Anja, she cut her hair and... nowadays she's everywhere.

The problem is people type-cast Marina as a gothic beauty, but she's much more than that, much more... For me she's much more versatile than Anja, and it's not because I like Marina.

But I don't see the same girl in McQueen,

in Rochas,

in Marni,

in Cavalli,

in Vuitton,

or in Chloé.

And it's not because of the make-up, she's not disguised. Maybe it depends on the eye of the person who see...

Usually strong features carry any hairstyle or color without problem. Ie: Iekeliene Stange with the blonde hair. It works because Iek's features outweigh the drastic change

She's really versatile.

She can be very sexy too.

I find her very versatile, the problem is that we haven't very opportunities to check it because of her short of print work.

I think I've seen the most of her print work, but you know, since 2007 she does between 5 and 10 editorials per year, and that's a shame. I love her work with Nico, he knows how to take the bests looks of Marina, every ed its fantastic. She has a Numèro ed by Vriens which it's spectacular too. I miss those years, 2005 and 2006 when Marina did like 25 or 30 eds per year:cry:, and every single ed shows her versatility. Another problem with her print work its that the magazines type-cast her as a dark and mystic girl, but she proved she can be sexy or whatever (like in that ed by Sorrenti or the Vogue Nippon ed by Richardson).

Anyway I agree with you about her facial expressions on runway but I think that's not a problem (11 seasons on catwalks prove it), a spanish designer who always asks Marina to walk in him shows said that the main reason because Marina has very runway work its because she is one of the most professional models in the runway, she always do what the designers want she do.

that is the question:angry: she can be very feminine

I think that she has one of the most versatile looks in the industry ,but you need more than a strong look to keep up with the pace.I think marina isnt that ambitious or driven ,she is probably one of those models that just enjoys whatever she is doing.

she is a gothic princess, I agree... but also a lady of high society, a junkie, an innocent young, a military angry, a lesbian S & M,a marquise, a lady of S XVIII, a Bourdin woman... she is versatile, but have not given the opportunity

Gothic princess is probably the best description for a girl like Marina  But I defenitely agree: there's much more behind this dark, kinda intimidating look. She's SUCH a talent...
